AKA stop pestering people on when the new forum will land until August.

That's fair enough - I think that some people are a little more urgent as they want to see the product that they helped bankroll through the donation of bitcoins.
You are right though, if it is to be released then it should be functionally sound and with no major bugs. The wait continues...
