There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

No one can see how many Crypt I hold still at the address I listed a long time ago. This is a working solution to Anon my Address is from Cryptsy and only shows the incoming coin I mined and none that I bought, and I even sent a donation to the Devs to prove that when Cryptsy sent them, they went from my account but from a different wallet proving no one could add up my wallet total. Working Anon, but housed at Cryptsy.

Cryptsy splits coins in different wallets, last Mintpal was doing the same as far as i remember, just before the scam  Grin.
