How can the POW end at block 24000 when we are at block 87700 atm?
That is PoW + PoS blocks in total. You can check PoW blocks like this:
nPoWHeight=19853 is the last PoW blocks we are in.

The total number of coins in my wallet seems to jump around. I've just increased by 53 coins. The original amount is stated in 'spendable' and another 53 are staked. Total coins adds them both up.

Can someone explain to me in simple terms what I am not understanding about staking? This happened the other day and I did a repairwallet and it reduced the number of coins down further than my previous balance and then over time climbed back up. I'm a bit confused about how this works. Cheers.

Now the 53 coins have joined the 'spendable' total. No new coins have received from the pool or directly mined during this time.

Which block are you on? check debug window, please there it says. 87873 is my number...if it's below 84k then you are on old fork you need to upgrade wallet. V.1.3

Staking or minting starts after 24 hours holding coins in qt wallet and you need to keep your qt online to see minting.

I have just updated to v 1.3 and resynced the blockchain. When I did repairwallet just now, i got this: "mismatched spent coins" : 1,
"amount affected by repair" : 52.93000000
}

block 87884

This was happening with the old version too. I thought maybe it would sort itself out with the new version but it seems it is still happening. It's a bit concerning because I am losing confidence in what my wallet is telling me my balance is.
Wallet is always on 24hrs/day

Yesterday it inceased by 400 coins! Its back down now but only after using repairwallet.

repairwallet is correct command to run.
Nothing to worry, you can't not use these removed orphan coins in anyplace. Nothing increased in balance. It happens because you were on wrong block chain need some time it will get in order.

I read the whitepaper. Phase 1 is a very basic type of anon that is inferior to most coins (including VRC). Phase 2 seems identical to how VRC/XC anon works using nodes but claims to use some kind of multi signature presumably encrypted, does VRC/XC not also do this?

Theres a lot of risks right now to invest in this coin-

1) It is very easy to design phase 1 type of system but we have no guarantee the dev has the skills to develop phase 2 and dev is refusing to give more information about phase 2, another ominous sign.

2) Since we do not know much about phase two, maybe even the devs still need to design it and dont even know if it will work yet. Even if it was released what if it would fail? Terrible!

3) Since we do not know much about phase two, how do we know it is not inferior to other coins?

4) We do not know what nationality the devs come from, and they have not very good English. Can we know what nationality are the devs?

5) What is special about SUPER, OK maybe it will not be the best anon coin but what will make it good enough to be in the top 3? Dev can tell us the reason so we can know why we should long term invest in this coin. If dev cannot confidently tell us why this will be in the top three anon coins then its no more value than pump and dump.

6)  Terrible English and gimmicky immature name (SUPER) puts off most investors. I am hoping this poor appearance will turn around as PRICE rises because in crypto price=trust. I am confident many Western people see the name super and instantly assume its a scam so this coin is being supported mostly by non-English investors so far.

7) Under the radar. Due to all the things stated above this coin is under the radar which is why I bought it. HOWEVER due to all the things above I am buying in the knowledge I may lose everything.

So the top ANON coins are XMR, XC and CRYPT. CRYPT kind of sucks and I know CLOAK sucks big time. Surely we can be better than CRYPT? I would be happy with position three and I know we couldn’t beat XMR and XC for technology.

Since I have lived in China for over six years as a Westerner and learned very fluent Chinese yet my Chinese grammar still sucks so I have a lot of sympathy with foreigners that do not have very fluent English trying to appear with credence on these forums. Indeed the very premise of WHO is able to make profit in today’s world is all based on trust and communication. So because of poor English, poor name and still no physical anon arrival it is hard for investors to buy on trust right now.

Edit: Expect pump and dumpers to dump because of my post but NOT including me. I already bought all my SUPER and have no BTC left. I am just addressing some concerns to help us improve the coins image in future. I bought most of my coins at 5k and already lost substantial amount on this price but I am not scared. Please do not be scared of the big dumps Smiley

thanks. I'm obviously not on the wrong blockchain now and those 53 coins have just turned up again! Repairwallet shows:

{
"mismatched spent coins" : 1,
"amount affected by repair" : 52.93000000
}

sockpuppet account detected. You have no clue what you are talking about.

BRAVO!!!great discovery!
I have tried to explain basic inflation
Please respect the opinions of Community and do not blame others.

low inflation does not equal stability. Pull up a Blackcoin chart, tell me how big the swings are on that coin in percentage, and then tell me the annual inflation of Blackcoin.

Here is a free lesson in inflation.

Economists generally believe that high rates of inflation and hyperinflation are caused by an excessive growth of the money supply. However, money supply growth does not necessarily cause inflation. Keynesian economics proposes that changes in money supply do not directly affect prices.

By cutting PoW you are turning the dev into a central banker, since you guys are arguing that the multipools are affecting price, and the only solution is to cut PoW. But even with multipools, the price of supercoin has been rising, so that negates the reason for cutting PoW due to multipools.

The task of keeping the rate of inflation low and stable is usually given to monetary authorities. Generally, these monetary authorities are the central banks that control monetary policy through the setting of interest rates, through open market operations, and managing supply.

But altcoins has already proven that low inflation doesn't mean stability. Take Blackcoin for example. The inflation rate doesn't matter, because 50%-100% daily price swings is not considered stable. Anyways its clear that people here don't have a basic grasp of economics so I will leave this argument alone. I have proven my point there is no need to beat a dead horse.
I agree, cutting Pow will not have a significant direct impact. It's an unnecessary move and is only desired by investors who are hoping to get a slightly higher percentage. It's silly that this is happening for them, because these people are forgetting about the big picture. We don't need to make small changes to get small increases in price. We need to focus on the innovation that's planned for the upcoming days and weeks. Anon, website, expanding to other exchanges etc. It seems people aren't able to think more than 3 days ahead. This coin has only showed a small part of its potential yet.
