very interesting your post, to give my opinion NYC still has much to give in one way bitcoin came to a point that will be impossible to undermine it or stay afloat given consumption and capacity required and compulsory in order to maintain the power of econimico that has been generated it will have to make based on other altcoins, surely NYC will be between one of these, greetings  Grin

According to the poll there should be at least 33+ merchants and service providers that have said either yes or no to NYC.

Can somebody post a list of those who accept it so we can have a clue how many reject it?

well, I re-download blockchain using nodes in OP, without nodes dont sync, and look blockchain of nodes is up 69 blocks that blockchain of pool, look that it was forked 5 Sept.Explorers are not working, so maybe is good idea stop of mining while all peoples re-sync to same blockchain.

Let's agree about NODES.

Otherwise tomorrow pool http://nyc.coinsprofit.com/ suspend work until the problem solution.

good idea, only we need to know who is working on  corrrect blockchain,but we could need a blockexplorer besides, a way of have one quiclkly is adding nycoin to multifacet, when they accept a new coin, they make his own explorer, only need a node with correct blockchain.If pool is correct
then maybe we can use it to sync if there isn´t problem  and pool is agree, after that all sync I could ask to multifaucet add NYcoin......,

some idea about                  why forked blockchain on Sept 5 was?    It was working since start without any problem.............

EDIT:   Information Miners:       Officials nodes are in a blockchain since September 5

addnode=84.104.143.203
addnode=198.200.75.246

Pool:    is in another blockchain                so all work  since September 5 could be lost.........

we need found correct blockchain.............................................................

I guess the decrease in hashpower and the tight block time (60s) contributed to making it prone to forks lately. Right now crunchpool (p2pool) and coinsprofit are on two separate chains. I don't know on which chain Bleutrade or other exchanges are, but my personal wallet is on the same fork as crunchpool. I don't know why the explorer is offline (has it been like this for a long time?).
There is no "correct" chain per se, unless this is a malicious attack. We must all choose one chain and stick to it. Is angel_investor still around and supporting nycoin?

interesting,  what about make a comparison beetwen 2 blockchains we know fork was September 5, found block where fork happened,or more easy both blockchains must be equals to back in time  before of September 5 like to September 4.What about use a backup?Maybe somebody have a
backup of September 4.

Edit:   I didn´t know  that crunchpool was mining NYcoin. Could put a link just here? , we know that nodes and NYprofits are in two chains differents
but we need sure that there is not a third blockchain........
I found link:  http://p2pool.crunchpool.com:27020/static/index.html   , I will advice to owner pool just now........

have a look at the hash for a certain block to check on which chain it was mined:

same result here:

I tested block 534000 in my wallet and http://p2pool.crunchpool.com:27020/static/index.html  and  they are same:

getblockhash 534000

2dc029196e47c2db9b7fa43413500ee37115442e8c8e08dcc20a4e9fe2993046

so look that there is only 2 blockchains...............

Official Pool please make getblockhash to 533700 & 534000 and show results.

If your wallets synchronized with http://p2pool.crunchpool.com - go there.

Better to let our pool will lose its status, than coin will be damaged.
