Isn't it irresponsible to not write the thread title in a form of a question when you merely heard a rumor and there is no official confirmation?

A individual bank preventing a transaction for whatever reason has nothing to do with a countries stance on the legality of bitcoin either.

We do not understand because your question is phrased incorrectly. If you want to ask if Spain wants to ban bitcoin, you would ask:
"Is Spain planning to ban Bitcoin?"

"Portugal and Spain banned Bitcoin anyone know that?" means that Spain and Portugal has banned bitcoin, and that we all are ignorant fools except you.

I agree. We should leave negative feedback for spreading FUD, the Spanish government is too worried about grabbing as much money as they can, they won't have time to be thinking about Bitcoin.

They are only considering banning bitcoin derivatives in Belgium, not banning bitcoin itself

and belgium is only banning derivatives. such as the EFT that winklevosses are doing.

they are not banning individuals from purchasing bitcoins.

i think that some people that read the news. so sit back, soak in the informations along with the caffiene. interpret the words, re-read the actual source document and not the rehashed news report. and then see if their interpretation still corresponds to the source document before even attempting to post it as news here.

its like a stupid school kid race. whoever can spread the gossip first gets to be the popular kid that day..

i prefer actual non-fud info when someone wishes to inform us of something new. and i hate having to peel away all the Fud and misunderstandings that these gossip queens like to push into the forum without even checking the source or giving enough time for their brain to filter properly.

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

Through your broken English, this is exactly how I understood your question, bud.

For a very brief period of time, I, too, was somewhat critical of those who didn't relay their message across via the proper use of the English language until, that is, I was slapped in the face with the realization that this is an international board, and trying to vote down the accused would prove futile, if you get my drift.

I'm sure that in Spain, little boys learning English for the first time would have difficulty distinguishing the difference between a Pole and a pole, sans the aid of a mentor helping the poor lad in getting his head wrapped around the ideal.

Quick aside: I only weld stuff pertaining to Belgium on Tuesdays when sex kittens go to college with boys who rally 'round the flag

English is a beautiful language, and tool, especially if one knows how to use it to their advantage. Sadly, I'm a novice, but I have aspirations.

I apologize for coming off a bit rude. Everyone is just a bit fed up with MSM FUD.

I would have merely assumed English wasn't your first language with the incorrectly phrased title but your whole basis for even asking such question was based upon a single bank transaction not going through which doesn't necessarily have anything to do with bitcoin's legality and could be either an individuals banks policy, a limit reached, fraud, mistake, ect...

So the question you should have asked was "Has bank xxxx in Spain blocked Bitcoin payments?"

Could a mod please make the thread title more accurate? (or the OP)
The current title is way too far from reality.
