requested MoneyPak Sep 22nd, promised it next day afternoon. Nothing a week later even after he said he'd look into it.
Problem corrected.
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Why haven't I had any issues with WU?
I know there can be some problems but I have had a good 50-100 WU Transactions and haven't had any problems, and certainly never had a delay of 3 days.
I'm just saying that this particular company has a record of bad response time, and more than a few people have complained privately to me about their service.
It is what it is.

50-100 transactions won't cause problems... the problems come with you send 50-100 per week with the same runner. Things start to get reversed.

When our response time becomes slow its because we are getting flooded with orders and are filling them, and with large amounts of orders a percentage of them will experience difficulty.

We have come through on 100% of our transactions, either via payment or refunds.

Although we are not advertising it, we are now accepting a limited amount of MoneyPak purchases per week, it is first come first served basis.

This ONLY affects those who are BUYING with a MoneyPak.

We are able to cash out to MoneyPak as normal, without any delays.

I put an order in on October 18th, about 72 hours ago at this point.  I guess the website says 24-72 hours, so it's no biggie yet, but would be nice if it gets completed soon.  I emailed a couple times to ask when it would be processed and didn't get a reply.

Just small beans, $30 mtgoxUSD for Western Union.  But obviously time is sort of important if I'm coughing up a Western Union fee plus 7.5% or whatever.  Hopefully it gets processed soon.

Oh, and FWIW I also put an order in with Bitcoinbux for 12BTC, and never even heard back from them to complete my end of the order.

Still no response from them, and we're definitely over the 72 hour mark at this point.  I emailed again this morning to ask for an update and still no response.  (To be clear:  They've received my MtGoxUSD code, but have not processed my Western Union payment.)  I get that things might come up that delay it, but the lack of response is really irritating.  I don't get why you'd offer this service if you can't come through -- I would have made other arrangements to get this cash I need.

Please respond.

I was supposed to receive a tracking number over a week ago. Nothing, no email responses, no PM responses. Been a week and I might've been had.

Thanks for the info Shakuru.

I just went ahead and redeemed my MtGoxUSD code myself.  (FWIW, he apparently hadn't cashed it in.)  I wouldn't be surprised if he's deliberately lazy and takes advantage of people that don't want to hound him/forget/etc.  But at least I haven't been ripped off-- I've just been grossly inconvenienced and am now scrambling for the cash I need.

I definitely do not recommend using this guy's service.

The only reason for a service like this is if time is important, so it's kind of pointless at best and scammy at worst.  Really no honest reason to think someone would setup a service like this if they can't respond to emails within a week.

Shakaru stepped in and did the trade I needed for me and was awesome.  Got it done really fast, was very responsive, etc.  If anyone needs an exchange I really recommend just contacting Shakaru... he's the type of service you'd expect/hope for from the Bitcoin community.

Hello everyone,

My most sincere apologies for disappearing.

Many personal issues have prevented me from making an appearance online, and although the processing of transactions was temporarily placed on hold, we are now back and 100% operational.

The hiatus was necessary to maintain the operational security of the enterprise, and ALL transactions that have been sent to me are still here. No ones money has been spent, it is still here, and now that I am able to continue business I am going to proceed to refund / process all pending transactions. I am answering e-mails in the order they are recieved. Contact me via AIM for a quick response: bitcoinexchange@aim.com

If you are one of the pending transactions, contact me via e-mail or PM right away.

I can go into more detail on the reason for the hiatus over AIM instant messaging.

So once again to reiterate, our service is back and operational and fully staffed. You can find me idling on AIM at any time to resolve any pending transaction you may have.

My PGP key remains the same.

I understand there was much frustration caused by my disapearance, and I do sincerely apologize. Hit me up over AIM and I will tell you why it happened, and work with getting your refund / exchange processed immediately.

Regards,

BtX

If you clicked on this link from the bitcoinexchange.cc webpage and followed all the way to the end, Don't do business with this person. He took me for hundreds and will not respond to emails.

I have reported this domain to go-daddy, hopefully for quick deletion. Sorry for reviving an old thread but he still uses this as proof he's legit, to defraud more people.

there have been several customers claiming non-performance here.  what is different this time though is that the operator is not anonymous and is in the u.s. so maybe it is worth trying to pursue legal channels or to file a complaint with law enforcement?

and maybe just like how anonymous sabu had been forced to help the fbi maybe this person's site and forum account are being controlled by some other party now.

in the meantime, what is the process so that the forum user account gets the scammer label or at least this thread gets some type of cautionary flag added to it from the beginning?
