Thanks for the info on overclocking, will get to that soon, just finishing up my temp experiments now.
At stock speed the AM-V2 hashes at between 616 and 624 GHs. Top on, top off makes absolutely no difference in hash rate over longer periods.
The machine's top two blades do run 2 C cooler with top plate in place.

While I'm here... just ordered a second AM-V2 anyone have any thoughts on stacking vs not stacking and also opinions on PSU, I have  a 1300 watt Platinum PSU from EVGA that looks like it could run two of these but BTC Gardens' stated specs call for a 750 W PSU for each.
(When I first plugged my V2 in I checked and it was drawing 634 W at the wall but I haven't checked to see how much this fluctuates while mining).

I've got 6-blades (3x AM-v1 miners) running on a single 1000W gold rated PSU, factory clock settings and running FW 0719

yeah, if you dont overclock them I think you can run them no problem on 1300 W PSU.

I must say that I like this miner, it is solid, and with good GH/$ ratio.

Bottom connection for Rpi must be done to hash. I found it here and just want to point that out for the rest.

Thanx guys. I'm going to try staying at stock clock and run both of the miners on the 1300 W PSU. I'll let you know if anything blows up Smiley
I think I will try stacking them since I can set up directed air flow better that way, even though that means it will no longer fit in my rack.
Price drop makes getting another one real enticing. These things are dead stable at stock speed (I tried 330 but error increase ate up 80 - 90% of hash gain while temps also climbed so I think I'll stay at stock clock for now). I've been getting 623 GHs on the miner UI and 605 poolside running 24/7 for a couple of days now. (and no stupid mystical pi restarts like I get in my Rockminer RK every 12 hours, despite changing psu's hubs etc. maddening).
Oh and just in case.
I did have a power strip blow up in the middle of the night on me so if you are using a belkin BE106000-108R (6 outlet power strip with 8' cord and flat plug) replace it right away. Its rated at 1875 watts, but drawing 1200 on it for 6 hours caused catastrophic failure in mine (it literally exploded and shot a piece of metal into wall outlet penetrating 3 inches and destroying the wiring. Thank god for remote breakers).

Sure,  That is the priority level for the pool, when pool 0 fail you switch to pool 1 and if pool 1 fail you and pool 0 always ko you switch to pool 2

If you set only eligius and eligius fail you switch to nothing and you burn power  Angry

Eligius failed august the 14th, the 15th and the 18th and I switch to westlach   Grin and automatically when eligius come back the btcgarden return mining with eligius.  Wink

I hope that it helps you as well as the other forumers.
