Haven't posted in a while but I said I would let you guys know how it went hooking up 2 AM-V2's to a single 1300 watt EVGA Platinum PSU. It went sort of like sliding a stick of butter down an oiled ramp, as in Smooth as silk. Nary a problem. Only difficulty I had in hooking up the miners was I didn't have a cable to connect the two of them to use a single pi. So I improvised and rewired the connector meant for the pi (only had to move 2 wires) and voila hashing away at 1238 GHs. These machines continue to impress me with their reliability, and lets not forget the quietest miners in the class. (Thanks for that BTCGarden, my wife made me get rid of my GAW Falcon because it was too noisy). Stopped in to check what was happening and to see if there was a new pi image out. Happy hashing all. did you use 6 red cables and 2 black for this setup? No actually it is 6 black and 2 red (I used the extra cable meant to connect miner to Rpi GPIO header by moving the 2 outlying wires in to form a single set, the same as the usual connector wires for blade to blade are set up and just put teh small usb block on the top header and the larger block on the bottom left - since that was the only way it would fit)

I am just checking in to see if there is any new updates to the software on the way? The update feature still says nothing new. When you do update it can you please make sure to fix the API issues so MultiMiner and other software can see it for monitoring?
Thanks again.

Latest price update: $350 for 1 miner (4 boards) with 1 Rpi. 620GH/s. $0.56/GHs. 648W. $640 for 2 miners (8 boards) with 1 Rpi. 1.2TH/s+. $0.53/GHs. 1296W.
Any plans for a more efficient design, similar to the improvements implemented in the asicminer prisma? Doubling the chip density could get ~600gh/450w per miner, and improvements like this are necessary with the rising difficulty. >1w/gh is no longer a good buy for most people paying >$0.10/kwh

You're welcome. Keep making solid miners we like them a lot. https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/review-bitcoin-miner-btcgarden-v1-x2/Keep me in mind for a review unit for whatever you have I really enjoy using them. I can also help test them and send the feedback to Nwoolls and others to help them be able to include them in BFGMiner and MultiMiner. Thanks again Minersource.net and ASICPuppy.com for making the review possible. Thank you all for your supports. BTCGarden is working on prototype of new model for the time being. I stopped my 4 boards AM-V1X2 to add another 4 boards and when power on again I can't locate the wed browser interface where it was 192.168.0.139, tried 192.168.1 123 with no success, all lights on the RPi light up, except OK. Any idea what the IP could be? Is the RPi damage?

The SD card may not have handled the power cycle. You can try burning the image to the SD card again and input your settings. It sounds like it is all ok otherwise. Yes, looks like an SD card issue, I was able to access after flash it.
How long it takes to hash at full?
I am asking because 15 minutes now and still at 428.

So far the most stable, silent an cool miner in other words the only "home friendly" Asic miner. Maybe that is why none in stock.

I bought another set of AM-v2s three weeks ago, finally got half the set hooked up. Got a DOA PSU first, then when I finally got that sorted, plugged in miners and one of the fans literally fell apart within 10 seconds. Have to replace the fan but stll putting order in for another set today. These things are one of the best $/hash machine out there right now (at current price of $539 for 8 blades) not to mention, cool, relatively quiet and stable.
