increasing the bounty to 2 BTC for anybody who can positively help to resolve this, while ignore the redundant obviousness of this whole gaffe

well i mean maybe you should listen to us... there really isnt anything you can do i mean im trying my best dude i really do wanna help you because it has to suck to lose that much, the thing is the coins were put in an address with a private key that is open to the public and someone already took the coins so i mean im not really sure how you could track the guy that took the coins and even if you did find him, im not sure he would give them back to you, point is that pretty much its out of your hands and its out of brainwallets hands...

why do you keep stating the redundant? you think I don't know this? or do you just feel like talking? the point is you never know…so the bounty is out there

just trying to help dude chill, guess you dont want it, bye

you keep saying listen to us and what? give up? how is that help?

yeah i did give up, i gave up most of my Friday night trying to help someone that doesnt appreciate it...

i definitely appreciate any help…what i am saying is don't tell me to give up…

more development, anyone know this guy?:

Based on the name you gave, could that be this guy?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=25129

This was the first thing that came to mind when I saw "Hendozo." May not be but might be worth checking?

Some infos about this guy:
Post: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=7368283
Profile: https://news.ycombinator.com/user?id=1brain7
Signed version of this post: http://pastebin.com/s29kk2bb

He is monitoring the network for transaction to brain wallets and if the address is indexed in his brainwallet database, he snatches it immediately.

1. You could ask the operators of pastebin.com and ycombinator.com which IP and Email he used.
2. You could watch his wallet from time to time. As soon he spends the bitcoins, you could try to find traces along the transaction flow.

I am offering a bounty of 4 btc to anyone that could help me recover 10.7995 BTC…does anyone know who https://blockchain.info/address/1brain7kAZxPagLt2HRLxqyc3VgGSa1GR perhaps the person also owns brainwallet.org Huh

I opened the link, a description says "Hau weg die scheisse"  which is German for something like "get rid of the shit". The money is transferred to 1brain7kAZxPagLt2HRLxqyc3VgGSa1GR  The link points me to this thread http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1egi51/there_is_currently_over_10000_unconfirmed/

He's been doing more stuff :

Pastebin does not use https. It is possible he did not hide his IP, so write the admins at pastebin. admin@pastebin.com
also write the guys at info@ycombinator.com
Once you get the IP, use whois to find the ISP. Contact them about the abuse  Smiley

Please don't use the term "thief." The money was sent to a public address that anyone can access. That's not stealing; that's withdrawing. He didn't break into an account. He didn't hack anyone. He simply took money from a public account. Nothing wrong with that.

If all works out you have a couple of btc coming to you. thanks much. I have contacted them, also posted to the alleged thread:

Hi all. I have an android phone and tablet that I use regularly. I realized that searching the forum using the mobile browser is hard and too difficult to read. If there is any android app for this forum, can you please give me a download link? Thank you!

P.S. I do not have any computer atm and I'm currently saving some money to buy a new one. Reading through this forum greatly helps because there are a lot of good tips here that I can use.

Hi there, I think you may have something which belongs to me. Your account has been identified as the owner of the address: 1brain7kAZxPagLt2HRLxqyc3VgGSa1GR which was used to take 10.79935 BTC from the publicly available public/private key pair :1JwSSubhmg6iPtRjtyqhUYYH7bZg3Lfy1T used by me to unfortunately withdraw funds from cryptsy.

(transaction : https://blockchain.info/tx/31ff3dc5a0b490e0dc709a27fc50b1dc9c6d17a82b7bae36244293464352fb38)
You where Identified by "bitsmichel" at this post  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=622965.msg6913893#msg6913893 as "1brain7" on ycomibinator news here :https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=7368283 (under this thread:https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=7365663)

The transaction Ip shows you are somewhere in the Netherlands which has been corroborated by Pastebin's support team. I am still waiting on the response from ycombinator. Please kindly return the funds as I don't want this situation to escalate unnecessarily involving the authorities. From what I understand you were arbitrarily experimenting with the address. I will appreciate if the funds were returned voluntarily. You can respond here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=622965.msg6913893#msg6913893 I will be waiting, Thanks.

Do not worry alientech, there is still a chance that you get your coins back. I am definetly sure there is, because its just your mistake. The owner can definetly send you coins back, if you can make him proof that cryptsy sent that transaction to that address,

When that money does belongs to him, he has no right to keep it, I have some ideas, but I am not sure if those are legal ways to do.

as much as i agree with you, your statement is wrong. i do believe OP should get coins back but its is by human error that the coins were sent to a public address and so technically its kind of is fair that someone took them all... as wrong as it is the only thing you can do it hope that there is still some good in this person and that they will return the coins to OP

You are right, although it is OP mistake, still we can wait for a luck, because it is not small money to loose, and the money is still not used by anyone, it is just sitting in their wallet, so atleast the OP should get his money, i pray for that.

Hi OP. I'm sorry but i know nothing about it. I don't use online wallets or public wallets. You can chat with me if you want. I'm a student from the Philippines and I never had 1btc in my life. I only have 0.1 that i'm trying to save for my college. I can't offer any help to you because I'm not knowledgeable enough. I'm very sorry sir, i'm not the one you're looking for. If ever I have received it, I'll give it back. But unfortunately I didn't. Sorry. Sad

The OP messaged me about the coins. He told me to return the btc but i do not own the address. He also told me some other things about it. I was shocked and i thought that i should reply to this thread to clear my name.
