I work for Diamonds a Diamond company out of St.Petersburg Florida and Im offering the option to purchase Diamonds and Jewelry with Bitcoins. I will use my cash and credit to purchase whatever you need and will trade for the Bitcoin! Please inquire about what we have in stock! I can get ANYTHING, there are VERY few names we do not carry. Im trying to work with the owner to somehow accept BTC but the media has defamed BTC! I will still do everything I can to satisfy those who want quality products from a family owned business that's also the #1 Trusted Diamond Imported in St.Petersburg FL!

We carry some sick knives made by William Henry: (Best knives in the world, each year they win the competition in Atlanta Georgia & this particular knife is made with Dinosaur bone and another we carry is made from wooly mammoth bone as well! (William Henry offers a lifetime warranty!)

I actually like this idea, I wish I lived closer to you, I would probably give you some business.   It is hard for me to buy jewelry without being able to see the piece in person Sad

This thread can probably be moved to marketplace

depends on what you want to buy brother but for the right price I would fly within the States to make the sale!! Im trying to show my boss that incorporating this idea would be brilliant and bring GREAT media attention Wink

Please feel free to email my boss and explain why using BTC would help make his business thrive more! We just opened a new multimillion dollar showcase store in the new "St.Petersburg SunDial Plaza" in Downtown St.Petersburg and its great!

So you are acting as an intermediary. The buyer will send you Bitcoins, you will convert them to fiat cash and use it to purchase the jewelry. I would have been much happier if the seller directly accepted Bitcoin.  Angry

Agreed. Perhaps the OP can purchase jewelry wholesale and sell it at market value and keep the btc as btc.

It's a great news Most of the online shops start accepting BTC. I have found that ebay also start accepting BTC. I think one day everyone will start accepting BTC.

Well, I suggest that everyone go to people he knows who have a shop and try to convince them to accept Bitcoin, that the best way to marketing.

Most of them are not going to think about accepting Bitcoins, unless one of the industry giants (Ebay, Amazon.etc) does so. Once some of the giants accept it, there will be a chain reaction.

There's an idea.  You could basically open your own subdivision of the jewelry store Smiley

That looks pretty good.

Could you carve a piece of glass to look like those diamonds for me? I'd trade 1 polycoin for it.

Jewerly?!?

How do you expect anyone to patronize a business when the product is spelled wrong in the advertisement?

I'd like to buy the whole operation and pay in bitcorn please.

Ill offer 40,500 shares of Bitcom.

on the serious side, if anyone is actually looking for diamonds though, I have a couple. I pulled them from a scrap ring I got , on eBay and they tested positive as diamonds. Fairly small, but i think one is about 0.3 carats, all a nice white color. If there is interest i could post photos, maybe a video of the diamond testing being done.

also have a handful of untested/random gemstones

You may want to edit the title of this topic to "Buy Diamonds/Jewelry for BTC!" or "WTS Diamonds/Jewelry proxy service" and move it to Services

Im trying to work with the owner to somehow accept BTC but the media has defamed BTC!

I sympathize; not that it's entirely undeserved because of scammers, but that's the Internet even without Bitcoins. It's like the Wild West; just watch your step and don't annoy that evil-eyed guy with the gun. But I have one question. Is there one really reliable way I can tell if something's a diamond and not cubic zirconium or something else that looks like diamond without having a jeweler's tools on hand? Because I do have a rock with some suspiciously clear crystals in them that I'd be willing to sell if I can prove they're diamonds.

Not really. if its just a rock ith the 'clear' cystals, then i can say with basically total certainty that they arent diamonds.. natrually iamonds appear as rough 'rocks', not necessarily clear crystals. You might have some quartz on your hand.
you can get a diamond tester for maybe $15 on ebay that is able to confirm that soething is most likely a diamond, and especially ot a cubic zironium.

I sold the one with Dino bone and the Wooly mammoth tooth, let me send you some information on which ones Diamond's Direct can obtain, they are ALL liftetime warranty, limited edition, 49 layers of 'modern damascus' steel (what samurai sword's were made from) William Henry actually wins the competition in Georgia each year for BEST knives, they go through all types of crazy stress tests and so forth, look it up! The price points vary, I have knives from $400 to $5000, so lets team up and figure out whats best for you and make this work! Sorry for my belated response! been really busy at the new store in Downtown St.Petersburg (FL) oh and also dont worry about the knifes daily use abrasions because each year for $30 you can have the ENTIRE knife either refurbished and if its actually damaged. Im hoping to build a website selling HIGH quality jewelry and diamonds on a website but need to convince the brands we carry that BTC is not a ponzi scheme because everyone I have talked to is brainwashed by media and entirely misinformed about btc as a form of payment, such brands as Gucci, Versace, Louis Monet, Rolex etc. If i can show them that BTC use will increase sales and exposure of these brands and so forth I think it will be a great success!
