Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

...Just for the record!

You guys ever see anything CRAZY like this in the history of Crypto?  Immediate and manual removal from the top 5 spots on Coinmarketcap!!!

NEVER!!!

So for the record, using ALL market buys, i0 hit $257,000,000 market-cap and a per coin price of $12.  Surpassing my $10 prediction which I made when the coin was just 1 penny about 1 week ago.

xoxo,

The king

Yeah silly question really  Shocked haven't you been following, he can because He's King of Crypto  Smiley

If ya don't mind me being serious for a moment, he's also giving a real-time demo of the inherent flaw in the market-cap methodology. The standard (price * supply) formula only works well with very liquid assets. For illiquid or lightly-traded assets, it's not that accurate & it definitely can be gamed.

Not just here, either. If Vlad were of a mind to and had a six-figure bank, he could administer the exact same lesson in the penny-stock world. Anyone could. The only thing stopping these shenanigans is "economic self-interest:" veteran punters know that hitting the asks like a maniac almost always amounts to overpaying in a big way. As a manipulation tool, it doesn't work. In punter land, "gobble up the asks & start a bubble!" is the speculators' answer to poker's "go ahead and draw to that inside straight!"

And there's the lesson of the day. Smiley

That wasn't the lesson.

The lesson was that even if I raised the price 150,000% and made a lot of noise, NOBODY SOLD.

NOBODY!!!!

I'll let you guys figure the rest out or just wait about 1 month and you'll find out.

You know my M.O. well.  lol

I'd say accumulate i0 ASAP but you won't find even a few thousand coins for sale at any recent price.

It's time to watch the show now.

And look on what chinese are doing with TIPS. Back in December 2013 and January 2014 I was able to mine between 130 and 180 million coins/day with just 6 R270X GPU's. Ended up with more than 3 billion coins, which I sold for peanuts. Now I want to kill myself. Smiley

Don't feel bad about TIPS, brother; in 2013 I called the rally and I owned ~5% of quark but sold it to buy IXC, which then went up from $8,000 to $300,000 but I didn't sell a single coin.

It's still not too late but in another year it will be.

Now back to on-topic!  Smiley

I have some regrets. Same thing happened with BC. One "virtual friend" from CoinEx was telling me to buy it @ 500 satoshi, but I didn't. A week later I bought 200k coins @ about 850 satoshi. About 2 weeks later BC was listed on MintPal and I sold @ about 4k satoshi with smile on my face. About probably 2 more weeks price became $0.58/coin and my smile disappeared. Cheesy

P.S. Btw I have send you PM about something.

Here's a first.

I0coin is sitting at #11 on https://coinmarketcap.com

Market Cap = $ 12,816,800

That's cause I did a RageBuy and "cleaned" out the sell orders.  Only a measly 7,000 coins.  You can drive the cap to $20 million right now for less than 1 BTC.

Riddle me that!

This thing is gonna pop to $10 so fast; and none of the clowns know it cause they're distracted by the vapor of crypto, ShitETH.

Sorry, stupid Cryptopia exchange does not have a "delete all buy offers" separate from a "delete all sell offers", just a "delete all offers", so when Cryptsy's huge theft forced me to scramble for my bitcoins elsewhere I had to delete all orders in order to delete my buy offers, so hundreds of thousands of for-sale coins (at 10,000 satoshis and up) all got deleted.

I have started typing sell offers back in now, and thanks for the bitcoins you rage-bought with because now I have those with which to start trying to re-build the buy-side.

We made it on reddit too.  Too bad Coinmarketcap manipulated the results of we'd be killing Vapor, err, Ether now.
