the merged mining is coming

You mean multipool or something new ?
If its something like Vertcoin/Monocle I dont understant how it`s possible at POS stage.  Shocked
[/quote]

Yup multipool mate namely we are working with chunky pools on getting this up. POS will go on separately though pure pos , there is high chance of network stalled due staking for a lower number of people , I've seen this happen to many coins , what the POW phase does is keep the network active and also provide an incentive to the miners to keep the network going till we hit the MAX money and then it would transaction fees as incentives to the miners thus POS will also help confirm blocks.

This was implemented mainly to secure the blockchain and keep the network live.

Do let me know if you require further explanations.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Huh
Pow still going on?
I'm still getting new unconfirmed coins by mining on  sum2.v2.dedicatedpool.com

Yes but just 150 coins per block and it will halve again to 15 and to 1.5 coins. Smiley
At what block will it halve to 15 and to 1.5? Dedicated pool has far too much hash....We need some mining at other pools to offset this disparity.....

Yeah you can make a ton riding these fluctuations in price. I caught the bottom perfectly @ 200 sat today.

yup, I was close enough at 220
POW end =/= stop dump Smiley just wait few days till miners will sell off.
LOOK AT GREEN BUY ALL TIME Cheesy.... this is COOL we will rockect when miners won't dump anymore.
just 80BTC is needed to buy all SUM1 + SUM2 at that 200... And daily volume is like 30-40 BTC conclusion is so simple.

There is an option to have some amount of coins to reserve and not POS.  Wink
I use Russian client and can`t be sure how it looks like in english so I post a picture http://clip2net.com/s/igL9Sx .

Something like Options -> Main and Reserve string.

you can go settings - options and change your reserve...You can put in the total amount of coins you have. They wont stake.(in your wallet)

Keyzer the minimum coin age for V2 is 4 days. So you will have to have had coins sitting in your wallet for at least that amount of time.
