I would not be so fierce now bear. I saw yesterday, surprisingly strong support. Look at volume! It has been retained. Buying pressure slowly begins to grow. It is dangerous to be a bear right now. Better to wait I guess.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I don't know - there seems to be someone buying big - but the rallies don't carry on once the start appears back at bitcoinica.

I requested one out from them on Sunday, finally today they've replied, though still not telling me when I'll get my funds  Angry

Hi,

first let me say sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

Lloyds online banking is essentially broken, we have received so many transactions so quickly that their system is incapable of returning our current transactions list.

We're trying to get this fixed but this essentially means sending funds is on hold.

Sending funds is a multiple step process which consistently fails.

However, receiving funds requires their systems to work only for a single request.

We're currently exploring other banking options as the outages from Lloyds are simply unacceptable.

Again sorry for the delay.

Patrick

& if it's any further consolation I was the just under $6,000 buy that moved the price from $5.65 to $5.70 briefly & caught a EMA(10) > EMA(21) crossover - though it corrected

Otoh, this really interests me now. Did you use leverage on Bitcoinica for the buy?

edit: sorry, the leverage buy must have been bigger as I see 15k BTC volume. I guess you bought AFTER that 10k buy.

I'm not sure if you're reading the chart correctly, the green bar third in from the right half way up at the end of the chart is showing the price rise from $5.65 to $5.70 - it's not the volume that's down the bottom under it in $s - the second green bar in from the rhs end of chart on the base of the chart

excuse me if I've misunderstood your post or the chart, written in a bit of a hurry

I bought 996 BTC + whatever BTC Gox swallowed as a fee (edit 4 BTC of course), then later 103 BTC but that may be after this chart - I didn't check

edit: I think that I 'm confused now re my interpretation of the chart, will have to look again more closely when I have a mo...

sry

Well, as I wrote before, is really dangerous to be a bear appeared. There are many written by "the market has become more stable," "manipulator sucks" ... I think it is premature to think so. It is possible, "the fight deep pockets" is. I am very surprised by recent events ..
Another thing I see on the chart a new pattern. Considering recent events - this should be solved up. But it may well be a trap.
And please, do not forget that we had once "locked up"
