@zenminer_eric, is it possible to add our machines Temp to the screen?
I've forwarded that feature request to our devs Is Eric the sole zenMiner support guy? At this time, yes. That's the fun of a new company though

Kudos to you for the fast replies Eric. I bailed and setup my own Pi to mine with, but I really like the idea behind your service.
I'm an virtualization infrastructure architect if you guys need any help scaling your servers I'd be happy to offer advice/services.

Sorry to see you go kebabman, hopefully we'll win you back soon after we've added some new improvements and features... We've got some plans for this platform that even you might find hard to refuse As for now, signing off.

I too want to thank Eric for helping me get my zenminer up and running. Eric stood behind their product and stuck with me until it worked.

Many zenMiner users are reporting the same, however, all have confirmed that pool stats (i.e. real stats) are typically much closer to what you'd expect them to be. We're actively working on refining the detail of the statistics provided in the zenOS UI.
What does the discarded number actually mean? I realize that the no-submit-stale is NOT being used, so if all shares are being sent to the pool, what is being discarded and where? By the way after about a half a day of running Furys, my accepts are 1862 and my discards are 2902. Hi Eric, can you tell me what the "Discarded" number in the Zen UI actually means?

Sure, I am requesting a detailed write up from our dev team to explain those numbers. Stand by on that. Also, know that we are always refining the statistics and data to address accuracy and detail. So don't assume what you see now is the actual baseline, things may change a bit in the coming days/weeks as we improve the reporting and interface.

You should make it visible on the WebInterface the current running version of the OS, as well as a date/time stamp of the last update. Along with the controller status I mentioned before

Well the way zenOS works, once you have the right image loaded onto your SD (the link in prior post), there is no OS versioning to be concerned with... All future updates come via the cloud service entirely transparent to the user. So you'll always be running the latest version of zenOS. Details about controller status are certainly value added and will be included in future updates.

That method is only for people having issues with an out-of-the-box zenMiner controller. Most customers have no issues just plugging in the device and logging right in.

I just wanted to stop by and say that Eric has been great with answering my questions very quickly (usually just a couple of minutes). I've had everything up and running smoothly for the last 24 hours or so, except for the discard rate. I'm looking forward to seeing what new features will be added.
I am just a little curious on what security risks the ZenController poses on my network. My plan is to eventually segment off the controller and miners on to their own subnet or their own network entirely.

I had some trouble initially activating my zenminer controller, so I contacted support and Eric was really responsive, helped me out right away. Mining as we speak, love the cloud hosted GUI too.
