I have a quick question

The ANACS website mentions that one has to submit coins in Mylar flips.  All my physical bitcoins are currently in Airtite capsules, which I would prefer to keep in while being shipped. I would prefer ANACS open the capsules once they receive them.

Has anybody sent a coin in its capsule to ANACS to be graded, and if so, was it accepted?

Yes, I did.  I sent my coins in whatever way I had them at the time....flips, white cardboard squares with the mylar clear window, airtites, quadrum square coin capsules, you name it.

ANACS accepted all of them in whatever method I sent in.  They say they want them sent in flips with no tape or staples, but they accepted everything regardless, and graded them.

good luck.

Somewhat interesting story...ANACS called me today to ask me why I valued my 10BTC redeemed Casascius coins so low, where he was thinking it was fully funded.  I spoke to the person for about 10 min educating about Cas coins, talking about looking up the addresses to see if they are funded, how the hologram shows if its been peeled open, etc.  The ANACS person seemed very interested in the concept of bitcoins and physical bitcoins as well.
