Just a reminder for those that seem to have missed it or already forgotten:
This is the FIRST fully 100% Decentralized Trustless Mixer
This wasn't even talked about in announcements, yet Dan was able to incorporate it into REV2 release for testnet. That's actually called overdelivering.
Yes, the release could have been smoother. Yes, we all want it on mainnet. But if they had a little hangup last minute would you want them to just release it anyhow?
Come on guys, the fundamentals are the same. XC is ahead of everyone else by miles, and we're going to have this TRUSTLESS MIXER too!
You all can think what you want, but I personally take this as great news. It shows real development.

Listen Everyone - If you read all my posts you can see I am PRO XC - I am not troll or fudder - people should know this by now.
Anyway, I DO believe XC will get there. IT will surpass dark and possibly LTC @ some point... but for the love of crypto and satoshis ball sack.. do not OVERPROMISE THINGS anymore.
Always UNDERPROMISE. This way u can OVER DELIVER and WOW everyone.

Basically mainnet is considered non functional based on the schedule as YES it was promised on mainnet. THEY DID NOT DELIVER WHAT WAS PROMISED. PR and the team fucked us over big time. |

Ok people the release was not quite what we were looking for, just give it a day or two and everything will be sorted, hopefully we will be able to use the anon through the UI.
Squeaky bum time. I put quite a bit on XC yesterday. Looks like we are dropping in price, you can just hold as it will go back up, or sell now and buy back in at a lower price. |

Am I assisting to something like has happened to BC when was added in coinkite?
It was at low price and the day before the adding the pump begun. It reached 45k. I didn't sell because I was sure the rising wasn't finished. But the same day BC went added the dump started.
Some day ago XC was 130k, rev 2 was coming and two days ago the price touched 300k. Today the rev is out and we're going back to 180k.
I'm still waiting the next day, but how this should be a good sign?
no u made the right choice...xc has potential, the xc team did not deliver what was promised. and so its liek going to walmart and buying dorritos.. but when u open the bag of dorritos u find a lollipop. so u go back to walmart to get a new bag of dorritos, and u find out they are now all sold out. so ur stuck with a lollipop. what u gana do with a lollipop?? what u gana do man! what u gana do when they come for you. |

My personal opinion is that they have released on test net because it is a major release, completely rewritten and it is only wise to have it on testnet for the first couple of days. There might be some bugs hidden so people will have the chance to find them. I think at this moment it is much more important to test if this technology is indeed true anon and if it works as advertised. What happens to the price I think is more related to people taking some profits and exiting the market in the face of some uncertainty. As soon as the technology is proven to work fine, the price will rebound. So to all those who have the necessary skills please test the mixing function and see if it works.

On the plus side, this REV 2 is a rewrite of the code no ? I wouldnt want this to be on MAIN NET straight away (hello da(fo)rkcoin) I am happy its now available (i have it running) and its in test phase - exactly like before.
Give it a few more days for all this whimsical whinging to finally realise that fact. For now, I am buying up all your bs tears.

REV.2 will be continuously updated over the next several days to bring to release status, it could have nothing wrong but it also could have something wrong this is the reason why it is on testnet for a few days, to prevent forks crazy like Darkcoin etc
New friendly wallet in Rev.2.5... anon option, encrypt message and chat etc.
