Pookie relax dude,  Wink, If you would have been canned on the spot or would be the one canning in your "real world" environment , i feel a little sorry for you.
That tough guy business mentality you project is called for some times, i know, but it doesn't apply here , or at least it doesn't provide any constructive benefits. I'm all for real talk when the shit hits the fan and preferably before that in business, but we are far, far away from a scenario like that with our PR , its rather the opposite in my humble opinion.

Marketing isn't Marketing and since crypto is a new playing field in all kinds of regards that applies to the PR as well. The middle ground Synechist is trying to find between strait corporate PR and a more POP culture approach ,which i think is an important part of crypto also, isn't that easy to accomplish and understand some times if you are coming from a more corporate only environment.

Hope this helps to understand both sides.

+10000 for actually coming at me with a logical thought out response and not automatically Screaming hes a fudder... I have been in this community long time.. last night was very frustrating.. for many different reasons about way things were handled...

While I am severely pissed off at how things were handled last night by the entire team, I still have complete faith in this coin and Dan. Please XC team, learn from your mistakes and stop hurting your own project. I understand growing pains, but if Rev2 would have been released at 8pm last night, XC's name would be held high today and the price would reflect the respect.

I want to respond to this, as I don't blame anybody for being upset how things went down last night.  Could it have been handled better, yes... we will we learn from this.. YES...

However, it was a decision that I had to make, as I was not comfortable releasing the mainnet code in its current state and I stand by that decision.

Moving forward a more formal release process will be followed.

Friendly suggestion; evtrmm, I believe that your command contains 'sendfrommixer main', but this is testnet.

the_game1224 the difference i noticed between you and evtrmm's command is the decimal point after that 5 , maybe that's what you're missing.

'main' in his command is simply the address label.  The 10 in my command is the amount of coins

I'm all for real talk when the shit hits the fan and preferably before that in business, but we are far, far away from a scenario like that with our PR , its rather the opposite in my humble opinion.

I agree we could have been given a more realistic idea of how it was going but I also think we need to give these guys a lot of space. It isn't a business and they are working for the coin not for us. We can help them by pointing out to them how it can be improved and maybe try the new stuff out. At least until rev3 I'm trying to avoid thinking what we are going to see is business grade. In my view this is a way better approach than many coins which can appear polished from the start mainly because their development is much slower and it's purely PR.

so there are 2 new commands

atcsecure@ubuntu12:~/rev2$ ./x11coind simpledistmix
error: {"code":-1,"message":"simpledistmix <destAddress> <amountToSend>\n"}

atcsecure@ubuntu12:~/rev2$ ./x11coind distmix
error: {"code":-1,"message":"distmix <fromtx> <vout> <inamount> <toaddress> <outamount>\n  For testing, use an outamount of 1 for the best results; a minimum fee is removed from the change.\n"}
atcsecure@ubuntu12:~/rev2$

I am pushing a minor update to enable the first command as the 2nd is complicated.. give me 10 minutes

Thats what this community is about and guess who established that culture and tone with his levelheaded style of writing to a big part, yes Synechist.  Wink
I think its a little bit part of human nature that we take all thats been done right as normal, and let that one thing that goes wrong or not ideal frustrate us more than it should looking at the big picture.

I was getting this too after changing the address label, had to move from a phantom "account" into the correct one.  Run the listaccounts command and see what you get
