OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) is an international organization and economic cartel whose mission is to coordinate the policies of the oil-producing countries.
OPEC Coin goal is to provide petroleum exporting countries an alternative way to receive payments for oil that they export. We believe that this ambitious goal is quite achievable and OPEC Coin dev team along with OPEC Coin community will do our best in order to get there.
The ultimate goal for OPEC Coin is to be backed by the total dollar amount of oil produced in OPEC countries per day, i.e. 1 OPEC Coin will be equivalent to 1 barrel of oil produced from OPEC countries per day. If the first block contains 1 coin and they mature after 50 blocks...that would mean it would take 2250 seconds or about 37 minutes before the block reward goes up, correct?

Is the 0.3% premine based on the total number of PoW coins, or is it 0.3% of the total amount of PoW+PoS?

PoW+PoS All premined coins will be stored in transparent wallets so every1 will see where these coins are spent Hi dev, any idea at what date the premined coins will be stored in a transparant wallet? Just to be clear. If you have a percentage of premine. It can be both. But if dev holds coin indef then of course pos will add up. Sometimes with coin launches u get high premine but in this case its a Fraction Premine shouldn't be a concern foranyone in this case. Sent from phone! Ive been on six launches this past 7 days. Pool.MN have been on all of them to start and tackled early problems such as forked block chain really quick. You need to watch the pool dash fairly often on the first day. That's how they notify you of any issues. Pool.MN had the problem of a fork on recent purecoin. No problems, they put a new port on the dashboard as soon as possible for you to change miner settings. I missed it, but when I logged on 2 hours later it was there and I had lost 2 hours mining. First thoughts - Whats going on RubberPool  (The Dev of Pool.MN) Checked the thread first, and sure enough, Early forks due to release of source code to early (Coin Dev's Fault) --- Suprnova good too. don't know if they are on this launch. Cool, I have faith in them! Got my bat and conf all setup...waiting on launch! |
