My first experiment with x13 or anything outside doge for gpu mining.

I installed the sgminer...setup the .bat file.

Miner loads up.  I get hardware errors even at I 11  !!

And I get no shares accepted.  everything stays @ 0

I'm trying opc.pool.mn

Any help would be much appreciated.

I downloaded from the op guide

using 2x 7950

here is the bat file settings:

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
sgminer -k x13mod -o stratum+tcp://opc-stratum.pool.mn:7845 -u web.worker -p x -I 16  --gpu-powertune 20 -g 2 -w 128 --thread-concurrency 8192

still getting no accepted shares and hardware errors.

I tried without powertune also.  Tried g 2/4

Same issue.

this is a new installation of windows though.  Do I have to do anything all over again in terms of windows optomization?  I downloaded the new amd catalyst 14.6 beta

try to remove powertune, reduce thread-concurrency to 8191 and increase intensity slowly from 13.

Can also try another pool? The one at minep.it is very stable.

Greetings, I know a friend in Abu Dhabi, I will tell him about this coin, and see what they think. They always love investing in things like this, they have plenty of money and i am sure that if they brought a ton of these opec coins in memory of their wealth that this price will sky rocket.

His father also works in the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.

I think the goal of this coin is absolutely absurd.....if anyone did some research they would find that there are laws that OPEC oil must be traded in U.S dollars, granted there are plenty of special interests that would like to see this changed to a different currency, but why would anyone choose this? I would like to see a plan on how this grand idea will be implemented......or this is just another coin trying to jump into a market that anything new and flashy gets popular........people are stupid......but i dont think they are THIS stupid
As I've already stated - OPEC coin goal is not to replace or even challenge USD as the currency which is used to buy/sell OPEC's oil, however it could be useful financial instrument that will reflect total daily dollar volume of oil produced by OPEC countries. In that way buying/selling OPEC coin would be a bet on the price of oil and the oil output from OPEC member states.

Care to explain in details how this will work?

You are going to peg a currency in a free market to a volatile commodity ?
Sure. One idea for the coin is to become an instrument that will reflect the value of daily production by OPEC countries. The coin will not only be linked to the value of the commodity but also to the OPEC oil output. To this end a fund would be needed that would make the market. In this case buying a coin would be equivalent to buying a fraction of oil output. This is one of several proposals that we are thinking about.

why not, people put their funds into bitcoin when they get divorced so the tramps can't take it all, no reason people that deal in oil can't use a coin to avoid whatever fees and taxes i'm sure we are imposing on them.
