it would be fantastic to have 2 viable sha 256 coins. I hope this coin or perhaps another coin really takes off this summer. Does the pos in TeKcoin help guard against the 51% attack a lot or is it just a drop in the bucket?

TEK utilizes a different protocol than say Bitcoin or Litecoin. It has a Proof of Stake minting system that is by far one of the most profitable and overlooked by users, experienced and non-experienced alike, who are looking into alt coins. A 40% return for 30 days of time spent staking your TEK sounds like a deal to me. It's a time tested coin, which didn't just pop into existence yesterday.
