I have actually been enjoying https://chain.so/BTC but only issue if they read this is if they can make a cookie that saves BTC when I click on it. So when I go to the site I can just go straight to bitcoin.

Its interesting to see 10 different bitcoin block explorers are listed at one place in OP. Can u please tell us if there is something extra in chain.so that is not available among others ?

I like the layout as well as they give you the amount of txs per min. Also I like their address landing page gives you a short link as well. They also detect self change addresses and omit it from the received amount.

we can say if we want to try about BTC then Blockchain is first priority of us  Smiley
if we neglect it so we have google but I really turst on block chain Smiley because less server down Smiley

I am having the exactly opposite experience. I found blockchain.info less stable than blockr.io and so I am now using blockr.io primarily.

U might find blocktrail.com even more stable with a nicer UI. Stability is partially dependent on traffic though. BlockChain.info no doubt caters the highest traffic. Some people even confuse blockchain with blockchain.info.

It definitely has a very nice UI, and I have just added it to my bookmarks (as a backup for blockr.io at this moment Smiley). Thanks for your suggestion.

Thanks! I like the UI and especially, the 'mention' feature but it is only showing meantions in BT though. Anyway, I will stick with Blockchain.info and Blockr.io, if both are down, I will go for this. Wink

blockchain.info naturally. Its cool how it updates automatically when a new transaction takes place.

Blockr.io when the previous one is down. Happened quite a few times.

I just stumbled upon a new block explorer...

http://explorer.chain.com/

Seems it is not so good from navigation point of view, but offers an extensive and documented API. If u r a developer and have used it, please provide your point of view regarding the API.

Blockchain.info and blockr.io are still the best options IMO. They not only provides the standard explorer services but also allows you to push your raw transactions to the bitcoin network.

When you check an address balance or a transaction status online, which block explorer do you use ? If you run a service depending on a third party API, which block explorer's API you rely upon ?

Update: I'm listing out the outcome of this thread here...

1. https://blockchain.info/

2. https://blockr.io/

3. https://blockexplorer.com/

4. https://www.biteasy.com/

5. https://chain.so/btc

6. https://helloblock.io/

7. http://bitcoinchain.com/block_explorer

8. https://bkchain.org/btc

9. http://bitinfocharts.com/bitcoin/

10. http://www.blocktrail.com

I rarely use block explorer but when I do I'm using blockchains, also their wallet. But to be honest, I've never used any other.

Blockchain.info.
The reason is pretty simple that the service is older and it is the first block explorer I know.
