Sell while you still can.

The Communists say, equal labour entitles man to equal enjoyment. No, equal labour does not entitle you to it, but equal enjoyment alone entitles you to equal enjoyment. Enjoy, then you are entitled to enjoyment. But, if you have laboured and let the enjoyment be taken from you, then – ‘it serves you right.’ If you take the enjoyment, it is your right.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Buy high and sell low.

Silk Road is fine.  There were withdrawal issues, that's being worked on or fixed already.  No big deal.

Bitscalper down?  So what?  How's that going to affect anything?

BitServ down?  Again, tiny pool, who cares.

What were we talking about again....

Sell while you still can.

Bitscalper has been up and down since it started.  It is currently up.

Bitserv is not and was not even a 5% pool.

Silkroad is having some trouble and almost certainly will be fixed.

Paxum is probably the biggest issue now and you don't even have it listed!

I kinda like Atlas.  He's passionate about sharing his ideas.  He's an example of why I wish the peer review system was obliterated.

This doesn't mention Paxum. And add Tradehill to the list, it looks like they're seriously done for.

And the leverage mania is still maxed on longs. I'm really feeling better staying out of this.

I wouldn't say "done for". The announcement on their site just seems to be indicating that they want to get officially licensed as a money transmitter.

But they probably will be out of the game for a while.

If there is something that will make Bitcoin succeed, it is growth of utility - greater quantity and variety of goods and services offered for BTC. If there is something that will make Bitcoin fail, it is the prevalence of users convinced that BTC is a magic box that will turn them into millionaires, and of the con-artists who have followed them here to devour them.

I think it was well played sarcasm.  It looks like a compliment, but isn't.  In the Tom Leykis world we called it a "neg".  Works on dumb chicks (read: extremely hot chicks).
