in actual fact, anything with potential to be an anonymous money laundering platform, will indeed be under a shitload of scrutiny.
this is indeed a fact and one of the reasons I am against node based anonymity mixers I do not wish to have my things confiscated due to my computer relaying data in a laundry operation.
it is one thing to have an anonymous transaction from a to b but when you start involving everybody in the network they are all guilty by association, so when transactions get traced and the powers that be really have a hard on for whom ever they are after. More than likely innocent people will get caught up in the web.
I already know that law enforcement dislike the idea of mixers in general. So by implementing them directly in your code base you are painting a target on your back and running through the firing range...
XC has already been proven easily traceable at this time and though people will say oh it's because of... The because of doesn't matter on how if you get caught you get caught. Feds are not going to say you're right we traced that too easily let us wait until...
Anyway i have no vested intrest in either coin but the viability of anonymity in both is a broken affair take it or leave it for what it's worth but i wouldn't try using either for any illegal purpose it will back fire....
