from which funds will be exchange LIM if everything starts from scratch?
From the premine, the largest portion of which will be used to swap everyone's old LIM to new LIMX. The process will be handled via a small form on the website. what is the correct ticker for the old limecoin? I see LC on poloniex and bittrex but bittrex also has LIM. also, do you have cut off time for holding the old limecoin? i figured you must as that number is being included in your premine LIM is the correct ticker for Limecoin. The LC ticker is from a coin created a bit later, unrelated. We'd like everyone to take their LIM off exchanges and off android/web wallet, and put them into a windows, mac, or linux wallet before 6pm pacific time friday. please spread the word.

Just another reminder, move your LIM on to a Windows, Mac, or Linux wallet before launch time tomorrow night.

Um I have one question before I get involved with this coin again. Dev: you had a 2% premine of the original Limecoin. And you have a 2% premine of this LimecoinX. So since the coins from the first are carrying over you essentially have a 4% premine? Someone correct me if this is totally wrong.

I'm not the Dev but I can tell you for sure that even if that's true (obviously not) NOBODY would stick to this coin. Chill, LIMX will be better

The Original LIM Premine will become useless, what we are going to do is 2% of the new Premine (LIMX) + the current mined coins (like 768k) that makes a total of 1.2 million coins aprox. (thats the current amount of LIM on market). to make it clear, forget about the old premine and the old LIM COINs, they wont exist anymore. and remember the already mined LIM coins (aprox 768k) would be exchanged for LIMX, leaving us with just 2% of premine.

Right, the current mined LIM will be swapped for LIMX, so that has to be covered, first and foremost. Everyone will get the same amount of LIMX as LIM they hold now, after launch.

I'm missing something. The 2% premine of the old Limecoin isn't included in the amount of Limecoins mined?

yes you are missing something: http://limecoin.coinexplorers.com/static/charts.htmlthere are 1,306,400 LIM COINS (including the Premine that is 420,000coins) as i said before: The Original LIM Premine will become useless, what we are going to do is 2% of the new Premine (LIMX) + the current mined coins (like 768k) that makes a total of 1.2 million coins aprox. (thats the current amount of LIM on market). that means: 420,000 premined coins + 886,400 already mined coins ( i said before 768k but more have been mined since) = that makes a total of 1,306,400 LIM COINS its not 1,306,400 + 420,000 coins. It's 886,400 (current mined total). regards!

The original premine is not being carried over to LIMX. Just the mined LIM coins, to be distributed to current LIM holders via the website, as LIMX, after launch. There will be a 2% premine of LIMX.
