For immediate release: The 1st Artist coin to be launched on the Bitcoin network has started today!
Now, Bitcoin users for the first time can purchase a user-created asset backed by a musical artist. Tatiana Moroz is a New Jersey born, singer/songwriter who brought Bitcoin to music lovers everywhere, with her single 'the Bitcon song.'

If you don't have Bitcoin or XCP and want to participate, you can acquire Bitcoins at

http://coinbase.com. Once you've acquired them, send your desired donation amount to your new CounterWallet Address (Make sure to write down the simple twelve word passphrase, it IS your private key!) and once it's in your Counterwallet, you should send small portions of it each day.
Because we allocate 100,000 TC per day not matter how many donations come in, it means that some days you'll get more TC for your donation than others. The worst strategy is to send your entire donation on one day because while it might give you a very large share of that days allocation, it's only 100,000 of the total 3,000,000 that'll be given out. It makes much more sense to donate every day for two weeks which will give you a smaller portion of a much larger pool - 1.4 million. So as we've mentioned a few times, this is a big experiment. We have a crazy pricing model because we don't know what a fair price for the first Artistcoin is and want your help in figuring it out. We love large donations, but we'd rather you get the most bang for your buck within the rules of the fundraiser than give in one chunk as an inefficient if altrustic gesture.

Will it be possible to exchange Tatianacoin to BTC?
Yes! As soon as the campaign closes we're going to start distributing TATIANACOIN to donors. It's a real token, so you'll be able to immediately trade them on the Counterparty Distributed Exchange.
It may also be traded on one or more centralized exchanges, we're taking it slow but there has been interest because of the unique value proposition of this type of coin.
POOL?
There is no pool because TATIANACOIN is a user created asset built on Counterparty which is built on Bitcoin, so a TC address IS a Bitcoin address and it can hold and spend both from the same wallet. Because there is no mining (since the bitcoin miners do that work) there is no pool, so the way you can get some TC is by donating BTC or XCP to Tatiana's project (making her third album and more) - You can find out more at

It's not an IPO, I agree they should add it is XCP based and there is no "letstalkbitcoin" full support, rather Adam B. Levine who also is the editor of Let's Talk Bitcoin, is fully supportive and has been advising the project from day one. The idea should succeed because its a good idea, not because of me or LTB.
