Still waiting for someone who can say say exactly what the "flaw" is in "all" POS coins that this patch has fixed. A civil answer to a civil question would be appreciated.
I am guessing that is is the same one that the Blackcoin developer fixed in POS 2.0. |

I am guessing that is is the same one that the Blackcoin developer fixed in POS 2.0. It's a good question. I think we'll get more info on that once PoSA is finished. |

It is a good question. Anytime someone claims to find a flaw in all other competing coins, and proclaims a solution, this claim should be looked at closely. This stuff is complicated and easy to screw up. |

There is obviously a point where delays become too much - cinni coin is best example I can think of where delays actually killed it even though it's not a scam.

Well shit. I had high hopes for Blackcoin, high hopes for silkcoin, and look at what happened to them, now I got in on CLOAK thinking I had finally made the right choice. |

No one ever said there would be. They said this was going to be kept from the public out of respect for other coins. If you read this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=637704.msg7723627#msg7723627you see: "After extensive testing we believe we may have uncovered an underlying flaw that can affect the vast majority of PoS coins and for that reason and until we issue a patch in the next update, for the security of this coin and respect for other coins, we will refrain from making "the vulnerability" public knowledge." It might be inferred now that the patch has released they may divulge information about it, but that was never explicitly stated. |

Implicit in that original statement was that information about the flaw would be made clear at the time of patch release. This has not happened. It is a big thing to a big claim about a flaw affecting other coins, and then not communicate at the specified time.

And as to your repeated statements about 'drama', give it a rest. Unresolved information about a flaw, upcoming hardfork, delayed release heading into a weekend - these are solid elements in any trader's evaluation.
