I guess I will give this coin a try. 200% interest might make people want to hold it. We will see.

There are 7.5 million coins in the PoW phase, and then day 1 of PoS it will be 75k coins generated from that 7.5 million TRK. It's comparable to a PoW reward schema, but with all the energy savings of not having to mine it. One thing I really hate about Bitcoin is the complete waste of power. Ok, so it's power spent to secure the network, but there is a better way and I think PoS is an improvement over it.

It's one way to think of it. It rewards adoption instead of those with lots of money to buy huge farms of GPU's/ASIC's.

I am guessing you will not stake until the POW stage is over.

I am guessing you will not stake until the POW stage is over. so that would mean 7,500,000 coins-120k premine = 7,380,000 pow coins 7,380,000 /500 coins per block = 14760 blocks 14760 block * 90 seconds =1328400 seconds 1328400 seconds = 22140 minutes = 369 hrs = 15 days 9 hrs Would mean around the 18th/19th for POS blocks When I previously asked the the reply was As far as the timing for PoS, we just need to wait a day or two with coins in a wallet and staking should start. The more coins you have the greater weight you'll have for staking.
Once the PoW is over (~2 weeks) we will see only PoS and staking will be occurring for everyone.
Also--diff is retargeted every block in case anyone had that question.

OP claims 8 hours min for staking. When I check staking info it says that the network has no weight and that I should mint a PoS block in 0 seconds. I have had my coins for over 24 hours.
If PoS minting is not working, this coin is dead.

You are an impatient fool. If you can't confirm that PoS is working or answer my question in a mature manner, go eat a fat dick.

I can confirm that I have mature coins that would be staking, but network weight is still 0, so either staking period hasn't started yet, or staking is broken.

thank you. I am having the same issue. The OP claims 8 hours, so someone out there must have mined at least 1 PoS block by now. Something is wrong here.
