There are a total of 0.10 btc in orders on bittrex. Looks like nobody is interested even at this low of a price. The PoW phase might has released too many coins. I hope you aren't too deep into this tom14cat14.

I wonder if we put together a bounty for the dev if that will light a fire under his/her butt to help this coin out. Something like if you can get this coin to 5k sat by the end of July I will donate 1 BTC to him. What are you guys thoughts? I figure some kind of goal with monetary reward will make it more likely that they will be active and come out with new things or promote their coin.

So stake at 9 days seems to be just shy of 5% (~4.93%).
~40.5 staking periods per year (365/9). Thus, 5% * 40 stake periods = 200%.

Essentially though, if you open your wallet on the 9th day, you can expect to stake 5%.

This is a great explanation of POS and they it is good for high interest. The coin works flawlessly. I am surprised how cheap this coin is for the amount in circulation.

Yes it is. I dont get it either. And it is for a coin with only 8 million coins out.

My guess is that large PoW miners are selling off their fortunes they made during the mining phase. The PoW phase produced 1000 coins every 3 minutes so a lot of coins got out into the PoW hands.  There might be several weeks of this type of unloading, no real way to tell at this point.

there are a glut of coins that were mined for fun/profit and just get dumped quickly if the price doesn't steadily creep up.  that's the problem with a short intense PoW phase.  it does allow the ones with small rigs to pick up a few extra coins super cheap though.  

I have my fingers crossed that this coin will re-gain momentum, TEK was once shunned, it took some time to see how well it worked, now is quite valuable, although it has PoW forever which makes it more interesting (exposure/security wise) since it can always be mined as an entry point.

I would have to go look again but if the max coin age is 30 days then yes you just have to open it once every 30 days and you should get your 200% per year. I think you get slightly less then if you always had it open because you get less compounding interest.

Sounds great. IMO this is a great time to get in. Just be prepared in case it is a bit of a roller coaster. The wallet has worked flawlessly for me.

Something is really wrong here.
I can't even connect to any of the mining stratums 777 or hashdot from Singapore despite the 180ms connect speed via ping.
not to say I am getting 500error when I try solo
