I am confused by the op too, I thought it was for total posts, not since posting. I am active when there is something to say and not when there isn't. I do not like the idea of being rewarded to post more than I normally would. Not knocking the setup but I think the division between hero/sr/full/jr/newbie  or for total posts makes more sense. Remember, anywhere people have posted, ever, their sig updates and that becomes an advert. Not just new posts. If someone was active in a thread helping to configure a miner for instance, all future readers see their new signature etc.

This can lead to a lot of spam messages too.

Guys pretty much all of the Bitcoin signature campaigns on the forum are paid out in this way.

If my signature looks like a "sea of spam" it is because of free distro coins here. like hyper. None of those other coins are actually encouraging me to go out and spam the forums, yours is. Other coins use automatic bots to detect their script in your sig and payout, some daily. So if hyper being where it is doesn't work because "you are paying for advertising" and not because of a distro model, I do not see much happening with this coin. Or just get newbie members to advertise exclusively. They LOVE spamming AND they only have room in the signature for one coin link, perfect! Every single person posting here has expressed how confusing this page is and how they are confused. This is NOT how other pos are distributed so do not claim that. I will leave hyper in my sig, where it is for the moment. If I actually get coins and the coin takes off, I have every incentive to move it up the signature, as I want coins I hold to go up in value and become popular. Otherwise, this thread is 4 pages in 2+ weeks..   A clear, open distribution model is pretty important for coins that are not POW, as without a proper distro and/or ipo it is essentially a 100% premine given out at the creators whims (not decentralized I mean)




edit, I did remove a few links from my sig and moved hyper up. I cannot put it to the top of the list as that will mess with a distro bot that looks through my sig daily. I like the concept of a coin for games mmos etc and the space theme. I just have to be a critical thinker with coins these days, so much bs and scams

We already had a Pow stage so HYPER is only recently PoS
