What he said. I've been through a couple of these and have the toys to prove it.  Best thing is to just check the forum every few hours for real non-FUD or lunar landing news and not look at prices and graphs. It is going to be a wild ride!

sooooo why is the price dropping?

really on which planet ?

lol sorry man I should've specified. I guess I cant really say that the "price is dropping" (as to not cause a panic), but that drop from 2300 to 2000 over an hour period was unexpected. Actually just went up a teeny bit from 2k just now.  Wink

but i suppose things cant always go up, up, up.  Wink

..if it isn't already obvious, I bought in @ 2250 so excuse the concern. ha!  Cheesy

If you worry about price fluctuations in crypto, you are going to end up panic selling. This is how whales make their money, off of people who worry too much.  The price could very well drop to 1500 and then rocket back up to 3200, all in the span of a couple hours. This is just how these small crypto markets trade. You have to have conviction in your decisions (whether to buy, hold, or sell) to lack conviction will only result in you trading with your emotions, and lose your money.
Whats your perdition on the price after we hit mintpal?

50K  Roll Eyes

50k would put us at around 20 mill mkcap.  With doge dying along with ltc and dark going down I could see its a possibility.

yep, nitesend + tor + vootmarket + vootpay = investors could take us pretty far!

Voot now has the most volume on Bittrex! If Voot keeps this up it will be added to Mintpal for sure Wink (@IconicExpert)

Please don't tell me iconic expert's involved in this coin?

He just discovered it yesterday when everyone else was on it much earlier. Guy is a parasitic tool.

Um ya... He pretty much ripped people off with his Blackcoin card scam and I believe he was in on the whole Libertycoin scam. Who knows who else he's scammed since then. As long as he's not doing any promotional stuff or development for Vootcoin then it's ok. Unless you wanna see your investment go up in flames. He creates drama and chaos. Keep iconic away from this coin. Period.

Hearing IconicExpert and Voot together just makes me cringe.

I know, I just don't want to hear his name.  There should be a filter that bans the word IconicExpert lol.  Smiley

I am having some issues with my mac wallet.

When I open the .dmg and launch vootcoin-qt.app, it stalls out. The splash screen doesn't even display. Dev says he's not a mac guy so he's not sure what the deal is.

Anyone out there have any idea what is going on?

All of my other wallets have always and currently do launch just fine.

Please help. Must stake VOOT.

At which amout of coins is it worth staking? Is it a mining PoS system or just a % reward PoS?

Anyone out there have any idea what is going on?

All of my other wallets have always and currently do launch just fine.

It seems that my particular system at least is having problems executing the launch of the mac wallet.

I right-clicked vootcoin-qt.app and selected 'show package contents'. In the contents folder, I went to the MacOS folder, and inside of that folder is supposed to be the executable file for launching the wallet. It is a unix executable file oddly named 'hackcoin-Qt'. All of my other coin wallets have their executable file named after the coin itself. Why is this one named hackcoin-Qt?

When I execute 'hackcoin-Qt' the terminal window launches with the following:

/Users/USER/Desktop/Crypto\ Wallets/vootcoin-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/hackcoin-Qt ; exit;
COMP NAME:~ USER$ /Users/USER/Desktop/Crypto\ Wallets/vootcoin-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/hackcoin-Qt ; exit;
-bash: /Users/USER/Desktop/Crypto Wallets/vootcoin-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/hackcoin-Qt: Operation not permitted
logout

[Process completed]

Is anyone else experiencing similar issues with the mac wallet? Can anyone offer me some guidance? Thank you!

It takes 2 days, mostly because the banks are slow as fuck, if i get voot at 2000 i will be lucky. In 2 days voot can jump on 5k or 20k Smiley

LB is sometimes helpful to get some fiat. Most people insist to get their goods payed with it. But LB will go the way of all fiat exchanges Wink

I´m waiting for a BTC from Cryptsys. There was some problem und it´s still pending. The support is so mad. I´m waiting now since 5 days!!!!!!! NO answer, just working on my ticket. And you people have just to wait half an hour. Be happy  Wink

LB is the best depending on what country your in. in uk its super fast, get btc in like 5mins, its worth paying the extra amount rather than going through exchanges
