My wallet wont sync for some reason...any suggestions?

Ok, So I bought some voot, nothing major, and before I sent it to my "wallet", I didn't notice it was not syncing. But I did the steps adding the nodes in the appdata/roaming folder and it's still not syncing. I have been at this on and off for a few hours now - what is the nodes? Becuase the ones I have aren't connecting.

DL tor from OP>> run tor.exe

then in Vootcoin > option > network > enabled proxy 127.0.0.1 port 9050

Tried that and still nothing. I have 4 wallets staked - I don't want to restart my comp, should I.

Maybe your firewall is blocking it.

Go to your Control panel and add the wallet as an allowed program to the firewall

Not the firewall bud double checked that, got a friend coming over soon whos more tech savy so hopefully he can find a solution.

besides the secret to cryptcoin and boost and a number of other coins that have exploded
in price for no reason WAS NOT MINTPAL, it was listing on bte37 and other chinese exchanges
then mintapal added them shortly after and crypt went to 100k in 48hrs after that.

Mintpal is a whales paradise and will kill any coin that is suddenly traded up to enormous amounts
because its a false positive.

If you really want voot to survive as a coin then don't vote for mintpal i promise you its absolutly
the wrong way to go.

Ok fixed it, the conf file was voot.conf instead of vootcoin.conf

Anyone have a simple answer as to what 'staking' is and if I have 10000 coins in my wallet, what will my that yield?
