Can we reward some of the retailers offering goods/services with Bitcoin (For the love of Satoshi!). It could be pizza day or something similar but seriously. I know we all want to horde coins but how hard is it to convert some fiat to BC for the purpose of actually driving adoption?

If we don't reward businesses that start accepting BC in one way or another the adoption will stop. It's in everybody's best interest to continue to drive this thing in the right direction.

Therefor, I propose we have a 'black friday of sorts' and pick a day where all bitcoin'ers purchase some goods with their bitcoins.

I will seriously buy $1000 dollars worth of crap with Bitcoin from overstock or something if it helps, everyone else should consider doing something similar. They are taking a chance with this, we should assist. A day around black friday might actually be a good idea, bitcoin monday or wtf'ever it doesn't matter. Come on guys.

OR not, whatever, starting to feel like we are all idiots where we really everyone to do something but we aren't willing to do it ourselves. Sad

Wouldn't "Black Friday" be January 1st since Bitcoin is debt free?

Well that is a nice way to put a HA at the government but I think Bitcoin Pizza day would probably be the better choice as the first historical transaction.

Although January 1st is the easiest one to remember and it might work since its after the holidays and people may want to buy something.

Believing in Bitcoins and it's ability to change the world
