Triskelecoin [TRS]
X11 POW/POS

Triskelecoin is a new X11 POW/POS coin, with appropriately skewed block rewards. The higher the hashrate, the lower the rewards become.

Default reward is 15 TRS, but after the first half day it becomes 1000/difficulty. POW lasts for 26 weeks, or half a year.
POW algorithm is X11. POS minimum stake age is 48 hours, with 4% returns during the first year, then 2% after.

Specifications:

Coin Cap: 10000000
Stake Age: 48 Hours
Block Time: 2.5 Minutes
POW Rewards: 15 for first day, then reward is determined by 1000 / difficulty
POS Rewards: 4% for year 1, then 2% after

Due to the overwhelming lack of interest and calls for the coin to be more innovative (Look at the top volume coins on bitrex and poloniex atm, they all lack innovation) I'll be postponing the launch until I have come up with something new.

If you have any ideas, feel free to post them! The launch will still go ahead, but now we'll make it a coin whose parameters are decided upon by the community!

nice logo, but where is the technological advance here?

The main change here is the block rewards - As the POW period is extended from the usual few weeks to half a year, the block rewards stop too many coins being distributed by an increasing network hashrate.

As mentioned, the POW length of the coin is much longer than that of most POW/POS coins, allowing miners to stay onboard more than a few weeks.

This coin was not purchased, the reason it is x11 is because when I decided to start making this coin X13 did not exist. I'd be happy to switch it over if that's what the community wants.

An interesting comment coming from someone with "coin developement" in their signature...

Oooh, I'd like that different block reward! Maybe for innovation, you could use another algo (yeah, yeah, yet another algo). I'm talking about the popular Jackpotcoin Hash or Talkcoin's NIST5.
Maybe add decentralized chat like Talkcoin does? But let the chat-fee go to the block reward instead of a centralized wallet. So the more chat, the higher the reward. The more miners, the lower the reward. Haha, that would give some nice charts Cheesy

Don't think there's need for a PoS only stage. Just do hybrid PoW/PoS, so people can keep on playing Smiley

It says it's been postponed in the op - I guess there's no point releasing something no one will care about.

I won't be surprised if it crops up later as something else though...
