I tried crowd sale or starting a new campaign on indigogo, but people gave me negative comments on selling the premine above the market price.

I am intend to revive GoldReserve as an investment coin, using an interesting new idea, one of my friends want to implement to his coin. We are negotiating the terms how can I use part of his idea to create my vision.

(in a nutshell, I intend to create a POS system like NXT do, you can give your POS earnings to a wallet (a person) which can give you % back, and as a wallet with a lots of coins most likely get daily POS rewards, you can get more daily as you can get as an idividual. The rest is a secret, I can not tell you more, but it is a really exciting project! If he can get the programmer and the funds from angel investors, I can negotiate with his programmer to implement it to GoldReserve as well!)

The problem is not in the conf file or with the Qt, something in your operation system prevent the wallet to sync with the outside server. If you synced the wallet before in that computer, try to remember what did you changed since. Furthermore, if you never synced your wallet on that computer then I suggest a tough one, reinstall your operation system!

wallet was working fine until the 4th of june. then it stopped. have other wallets working no problem. could you share your peers.dat file please?

Hi BitcoinNational! Under GOLDFUND in the OP you can see the actual balance. I admint it is low, but this is an ongoing project. You can read about the residence of the "gold keeper", if you klick on the POD review of the GoldReserve Developer.

The concept will change a bit because digital currency enthusiasts do not like asset backed currencies, so I will change GoldReserve into an investment method, where there will be no centralized "gold keeper", although there will be definitely GOLD behind the coin!

I am working with a friend of mine, who has a genius idea about a new altcoin. He is collecting funds now, he has some serious investors atm and as I am his crypto advisor, he will share part of the code with me, so I will be able to create a unique coin.

The only thing is that he have to finish his coin. After that I can use part of his idea.

Patience is the key, but the reward will be awsome!
