do no track (or similar) stops sites tracking you via cookies and other means, it also gives you a real but wierd email account.. so you dont have to use your own.
noscript blocks javascript, its a pain at times, but u get used to it.
https everywhere makes you go via https where possible..
adblock stops ads
foxpop: what does refcontrol do ?
basically all of the above, except adblock and refcontrol is included with tor browser bundle, but i use them on my normal pc with firefox. makes me feel somwhat safer

wasn't a fan but now i quite like them. but yeah noscript can be annoying if you are abit of a novice (and forget its on lol)
Do these extensions/addons really provide any protection, I don't use any of them and now I think maybe I should.
What sort of attacks or privacy do these provide?
