Tell us, why would anyone mine your coin? What does it offer and why is it worth anything? SHA256 these days is an unfortune idea. Moreover, you did premine 1%, right? Good luck with that!

Yes, 1% premine it's reasonable. Part of this will be redistribuite with faucets, bounties, giveaways, and more. Or you want to pay for it ?  If yes, you are welcome. Wink

disappointing. my miner doesn't like solo mining. not only are you limiting the number of coins, you are also limiting the number of miners able to mine this.
This needs a pool or two.

Interesting concept, however with the little info provided here, I don't see:
-how you plan to make it pool resistant (why wouldn't they be able to spread the reward?),
-what stops someone with a 1THs asic from mining this... I don't see why it wouldn't work in http...

- SevenCoin it's pool resistant because the block reward it's one satoshi. They cannot pay shares and they cannot earn nothing if they will pay who find the block, because satoshi is the most little amount, and I've remove all tx fees.

- Try to config a big ASIC for work in SOLO with getwork protocol and you will see that don't work, or you lost 90% of your hash power. It is, they work fine only with stratum protocol.

You are an old user with big reputation and a devel of a cool miner software. I don't understand why you start to troll in my thread. If your miner are not able to mine my coin, it's not my problem.

fair enough,

please explain why you have a need for a premine on this coin?
is it just, yet another scam to make you money? make it ZERO premine and i'll plug in some old asics. I've got a cupboardful of getwork rigging which is not powered up.
