Separating your wallet from your ip address sure seems to be a good solution to me.
I wonder why volume on Pol is so putrid? (please don't say it's because Pol doesn't have good volume, XMR did almost 1k last 24 hours)

Most of polo volume comes from the polo mafia insider traders. If they aren't on the inside ten they are not buying, good news IMO

Full Disclosure: I haven't skimmed the whole thread here, so this point might have already been made.

I think you guys are hyping the wrong thing, though granted it's working, and calling it 'anon' is absolutely correct, just not in the way the community has come to understand it. While I strongly suspect that the razor team has blockchain based transaction anonymity in the works, I don't believe that that is your grand success here with Tor.

What you have managed to accomplish is wallet anonymity. You've severed the link between a person's ip address and their wallet, and that is a big deal that should be advertised and made known - because with Razor, your wallet and the coins that it contains can not be connected to you simply because it was connected online.

So cool beans guys, and kudos.

Exactly. Very well put. Increasing transaction anonymity is something planned for later, but wallet  anonymity was the first goal

scambust,

Why did you create a new account just to fud this coin thread? surely you aren't brand new to cryptos and decided to make Razor your pet project.
Please explain why you aren't using your prior username?

Do you know what will happen if I call out all every shitcoin scam in my name? People will think I'm crazy.

Anyway, I use Github for evidence so this is not fud. Check my backposts for another coin I called out.

So your answer is if you used the same name for all of your threads people would think you are a paranoid raving lunatic. Got it.

LMAO!

Sorry for the delay on this folks. We had a main developer in an accident, and hes just got bruised ribs/ego.

Update:
We have listened to the crowd, and will be changing some things around with the same overall goal to make this more anonymous and easily usable.
Security features will be discussed further once finalized and tested.
Below are the new specs:
KGW
Max coins: 2M
Block time: 75 seconds
Block reward: 100
Halving: every 10,000 blocks

Go live date:
Friday the 13th
00:00 GMT
(7PM EST on the 12th)

Website to go live:
razorco.in

Could NOT Update the RZR Wallet. Need help please.

I have restarted the wallet for many times but so far it is still not available to update, have anyone had similar problem? Is there any way to solve this?

Does the wallet only communicate in Tor network? If I cannot connect on Tor network, does it mean I have to say goodbye to RZR?

you have to back up your wallet and remove everything in the install directory before installing, starting, stopping, moving the old wallet over, and then restarting.

Is there a whitepaper or proof that this actually works?

Also, from what I understand, the ip addresses of the and receiver are hidden but the transaction itself isn't anon.

If an investigator seizes a computer using this wallet the payment address and recipient addresses are viewable.

This along with access to a block explorer are enough to find someone if they need to be found.

Tor isn't as secret as people would like to think.  It all depends upon the money and resources an agency wants to spend tracing an individual.  Surfing porn, buying some weed, etc. no-one generally cares.  Surf child-porn or actively interact with certain bearded individuals from certain desert countries then you'll get a knock on the door sooner or later.

Also I'm not sure why this coin is Scrypt. Won't this just get dumped and sold into slow oblivion like Dogecoin? I thought the way to at least theoretically avoid this fate is to use X11 or X13, and switch to POS with buy support from an in-house multipool that rape-mines Scrypt coins.  I could be wrong.

BIG WINNER!

Block halved today so unless the price rises a lot I'm not sure if mining and dumping is worth it.  Also you need a ton of hash power now to get anything .  I personally  wouldn't touch this now unless I had 150mh.  At this point in just buying.

X11 and X12 arnt as safe as you think .   If there is money to be made you can bet a fpga is on the horizon

Razorcoin (RZR) has established partnership with Bitscoinshop (http://www.bitscoinshop.com.br/en/) where you can buy items by using Razorcoins, and enjoy 5% discount. As Razorcoin is not yet integrated with the payment platform, you will need to use the following procedure during checkout:

1. Customers wishing to purchase using Razorcoin should choose the product, along with signing up with the details and place of delivery;

2. Choose the bank transfer as the payment method, meanwhile leave a message to indicate that you want to pay with Razorcoin;

3. In the message, specify the dollar amount of your purchase (with 5% discount) and the quote of the current exchanging rate (Bittrex Exchange). Bitscoinshop will convert the amount of your purchase into Razorcoins, and send wallet address for payment.

4. Once confirmed the payment, items will be delivered.

We have many items for mining as gridseed, Asics, shoes and articles of clothing.
