Glad you like it! Smiley And thanks for your support!

Alright some updates! We actually rolled these out yesterday but I forgot to post about them here Smiley

- Markdown added for outcome descriptions and determinations! You can now make line breaks and your text won't be all jumbled up in those boxes! Smiley
- QR code deposit under accounts
- Fixed the Rising category to auto-update and load in when moving between the tabs on the /bets page
- FAQ updates and added an introduction to explain the site to new users
- Some graphic improvements
- Filter fixes for some sorting combinations
- Payout emails - you will get an email when your bet has settled
- Fixed a payout front-end display case where you can have a multi-optioned bet that ends up with an outcome no one bet on
- More minor tweaks and improvements

Please let us know if you have any suggestions. We're currently working on a site-wide chat box and activity notifications; as well as streamlining the FAQ.

keep up the good work. nice design

in a few weeks you willl have 10 pages+ of bets

Hey all,

We will have a planned maintenance period tonight at around 11pm for roughly 30minutes.

BetMoose.com will not be available at this time.

We're getting a super awesome chat box! Smiley

Hope to see you shortly after.

Love,
The Moose

If we can have satoshi credits and some sort of toplist objective perhaps Smiley
Imagines an arcade where we compete against each other but what type of mini games did you have in mind?

Kill your fellow bettors online when you lose against them and win some satoshis Grin (Imagine the advertising)

Lol! Love it. Most our team (including the 1 girl we have) are rabid Halo 1 fans. PC too! I still have that guy's voice in my head; "Capture The Flag" and "Ssssslayer"

Anyway - our idea was actually a text based form of Russian Roulette. Here's how it would work:

-roulette X (starts game with X-shot resolver), eg: -roulette 6

Players type -join to join the game (can join up to the amount of shots in the revolver)

Then players type -bid X where X is their bet

The game normalizes the bets - ie if someone bet 0.1 BTC, 0.1, 0.1, then someone else bet 1 BTC, their bet would be auto-reduced to 0.3 BTC.

Then, a "gun" is passed to a random player in the group, where they have to type -pull which pulls the trigger.

If they survive, they have an option of another -pull or -pass. If they -pull again, it would fire off another chamber and they get a % bonus depending on the chance of death. Otherwise, they pass.

It goes around until someone shoots themselves. Their bid is then split amount the other players depending on the weight and % bonus they had.

Very Nice, I know that feeling and his voice is perma locked into my mind  Wink (My only ally Running Riot XD)

His voice never fades away including Territories which was the most annoying of them unless you were OP (I was when we had Halo 3 Ranked Single Player needed mad skill to dodge a Rocket Launcher and needler the other person to doom or sword lunge/ cheat and pick up the overshield then enter the territory immortal to do a takedown.

Halo 1 is the classic one and has my favorite tank the one that does not take damage

I like the Russian Roulette idea sounds like an efficient method that can work in a chatbox Smiley

I remember a sword dagger knife gun type game on inputs way back when with different winning odds

Daggers 10% Swords 20% Knife 40% Gun 70% and the winner of that game got the winnings of the next player until they were defeated and the house took a commission.

Sort of like your Russian roulette only the player gets to choose the odds and the amount of Bitcoins needed to use a different weapon weaker weapons have lower odds say below 40 would win etc with a Knife and Below 70 with a gun.

This looks pretty fun and sustainable - why did they shut down?

I kinda like this, let's see if we get more feedback otherwise we may go with this. Plus it's not as...off-putting... as our russian roulette idea lol.

I am fairly sure that they escrowed their coins with inputs.io as they were one of the tab option games people could choose from.
People would play the game from their webwallet for zero confirm faster transactions.
In other words part of the great inputs hack.

Just an update: the recent Canadian Bill C-31 (http://www.ahametals.com/canada-signs-first-ever-official-law-regulating-bitcoin/) does not apply to, or worry us. So don't panic if you were thinking about it. Their 'bitcoin dealings' phrase is way too vague to interpret, and the rest seems to be targeted toward exchanges and any bitcoin 'dealers' that work with fiat.

Further, we are not operating IN Canada, and we do not target Canadians. We have an https web server that anyone can access. That's about it from a regulatory standpoint. (We have a lot more but everything is in the cloud and distributed).

Happy betting!

I thought about this also. You should put in the report if you haven't already. I'm thinking the only reason we wait is just in case something drastic happens and they need to pay something somewhere which comes out of site profits. That is technically a factor here, it's not just profit from the dice rolls.

It shouldn't have any impact on the bets outcome though but I guess your right on that one
Would seem off the resolution rules though since the profit is separate from the bankroll unless it was regressed and done in the next week.

You're probably right (and can consider you have it in the bag) but because it's not 100% determined - ie, the decision logic says 'site profit', which in theory can be impacted from other factors than betting (as a concept anyway).

Rather be safe than sorry on this one.

Big news today! We have a referral program! We'll be posting this as a separate topic, so here's the rest of the changelog:

- Referral program - 20% revenue share from all referrals for 1 year! Access it through the footer (after logged in), or from the balance page.
- Fixed ROI display formula - if you had 0% ROI, you probably have more now!
- 'Related' section added within the bet page
- Tiles redone a bit with picture up top. Should look more streamlined now (we think so anyway, give it a chance!)
- Chat notifcation pips updated
- Countdown timer added on the bet page
- Logging in/out keeps you on the page you were.
- FAQ additions, typo/grammar changes
- New banner
- Feedback box removed for mobile - should make the mobile experience a bit better.
- Added more performance metrics in the /placedBets/yourusername page.
- Some CSS fixes
- XSS vulnerbility fixes
- Lots of other stuff that you won't notice but is very necessary Smiley
