I'm also waiting for my coins, mine is a little more than 1.67 I don't know exactly how much, I had a winner pending bet before the site disappeared.

I was attracted by the only licensed bitcoin sportsbook ad. Turns out having a license is useless to the costumers.

I was attracted by the only licensed bitcoin sportsbook ad. Turns out having a license is useless to the customers.

Does it turn out to be useless?
I'm sure the people that granted the licence can be informed if the person that held the licence defaults on payments to customers.
What action can then be taken would have to be looked into.

The red flag for me though was when I read this less than a day before the site vanished:

Daniel Schwartzkopff, founding father of BetVIP, the sector’s first licensed Bitcoin sportsbook and casino has concluded an administration purchase-out deal for the corporate.
Schwartzkopff said BetVIP’s purpose was  to convey “transparency and legitimacy” to a sector that had been “marred with controversy and fly-by-night time operators”

Still, let's not jump the gun...we may be back here in the next couple of days celebrating the fact that our bitcoin have rightfully been paid to us.
If I don't get mine I will be looking into what I can do to protect the customers of any future cyberspace ventures that involve Schwartzkopff.
I will pursue the matter and the man vigorously if I have to.....not because of the amount involved but because of the way things have been handled so far.

I have around 0.03 in their sportsbook and 0.006 left for their poker. They really messed things up . Poker players was luckier because we can withdraw automatically even after all this announcement of they are shutting down come out. But I left 0.006 just incase I want to see if they fulfill their promises or not.

Well...............it's now the 29th June, so after yesterday's cut off to apply for funds it appears nothing's  been sent to wallets yet.
Mr Everitt,  if you are reading this, would you be kind enough to email me and tell me when I can expect my bitcoin?

Is there previous history of these 2 on the net?

Any certainty that these are their real names?

new update

https://www.betvip.com

"Site Message

The shareholders of BetVIP have decided to suspend trading of the business as of Friday 12th June. Due to the early nature of Bitcoin sports betting and an increasingly restrictive legal environment, BetVIP was unable to reach a viable revenue in order to make it feasible to continue operating the business going forward.

BetVIP 30 June 2015 Update:

Cloudbet has acquired BetVIP's client account database and player liabilities

All withdrawals requested will be honoured by Cloudbet as of immediate effect via Cloudbet login.
A new Cloudbet account has already been created, with the same email address as your BetVIP account. Simply browse to Cloudbet.com and use the "Forgot your password?" link to set your password for the first time. It will send you an email with instructions on how to reset your password.
Log in to your Cloudbet account, click Withdraw, and input your bitcoin address and withdrawal amount. That's all there is to it.
There are no requirements at all. You are free to withdraw immediately.
Please see https://cloudbet.com/en/betvip_faq for any further assistance in this regard.
Please contact us at info@betvip.com before 31 July 2015 if you believe your Cloudbet account was credited with an incorrect amount, or if you would like your bet history.

This move benefits BetVIP customers, and the entire betting community. BetVIP customers can access their accounts and funds immediately, and gain access to all of Cloudbet's exciting casino and sports betting services. In particular - for the first time ever - BetVIP customers can play casino games with huge jackpots, and bet on sports and casino games from their mobile phones Cloudbet's industry-leading mobile service.

Deposits and withdrawals at Cloudbet are instant, all player funds are stored in cold storage, and players can secure their accounts with 2-factor "

What if one already has an account at Cloudbet using the same email address that was used at BetVIP?
