If saying my opinion on the technical merits of a coin = promoting a coin, well, then I promote it. But aren't we here to objectively discuss which coins are technically better than others? What's wrong with that? |

If saying my opinion on the technical merits of a coin = promoting a coin, well, then I promote it. But aren't we here to objectively discuss which coins are technically better than others? What's wrong with that? Discussions are 1 thing but you seem to spend your days telling everyone - IGNORE BITCOIN AND LITECOIN, COME AND JUMP ON THE FANTOMCOIN WAGON....OR THE NXT WAGON....OR THE TROLL COIN WAGON. xc, monero, neutrino, darkcoin: all of this coins are trendy in the last month because of their anonymity features like coinmixers or whatever no one needs, but its a trendy randy now, as it was months ago with 'national' currencies like aurora-, spain-, peseta-, usde-, aphrodite- coins. dont take me wrong, a fair price for litecoin was always 2-3 bucks. |

If you're ok with the bet being before end of 2014? you said July I'll bet 50 LTC that Litecoin has a higher hashrate then dogecoin on August 1st 2014. I corrected myself that July is the soonest I expect it, but I wouldn't bet on it. I would bet on "before end of 2014". If you're sure Litecoin is going to stay ahead of Dogecoin and Dogecoin will just die, it should be ok with you. That is, before January 1, 2015. Ripple is getting close with a $3m difference in marketcap from litecoin. Ripple is a different story though, with such a big difference in trade volues when compared to litecoin. Not to mention the ability devs have to increase the total market cap at any time they want.

 The price of Doge is doing well too. That's a 200% increase within a month. I don't think that the hashrate increase means all that much though, merged mining means that the coin can be mined alongside of litecoin (or other ones) so it's perfectly logical that it's hashrate went straight upwards after the implementation of AuxPow. |

Ummmm.....I hate to say it but every hash amount on the Dogecoin network automatically goes to the Litecoin network as well now. Therefore it can never be more than Litecoin. Not to say anything bad about Dogecoin, but just pointing out your incorrectness. EDIT: Well on second thought I could be wrong, but VERY highly unlikely (those who refused to switch to AUXPoW, I need to do some research). |
