iv recently had a discussion with
j1777 about his
wifes account being taken off the stake holder list.
as far as i know there were no rules stating that the account used to claim a family members stake must be active. just that a new account must be created.
i personally made the mistake (by misinterpretation of the rules) of claiming my brothers stake by using my own btt account, meaning i claimed mine and his using this account and later had to create a second account for him which i think actually had less activity that jl777's wifes account but it was still with in the rules. (most of this was posted publicly)
so unless the account used to pay for the stake can be linked to other accounts that got stakes or were removed from the list or any other fraudulent activity relating to nem, i would motion to have this account reinstated with a nem stake as, in my eyes, it was unfairly removed from the stake holder list by UP.

Listen, I don't like this situation either. I inherited this mess but I have to live with it now.
The truth is i have no idea why his wife was removed as UP handled the removing by himself. Many people were removed and if i put his wife back on just like that then hundrets of other people will come and want the same.
I know James from the Ripple Forums and I know he's a good guy but from my POV there's nothing i can do without giving special treatment.
