Could you elaborate further on the scammer argument? Mike I would be careful playing at this site. From the discussion at the reference link, he has I believe unfairly taken the balance of a player for breaking what is a very arbitrary rule on max bet. The funds that were won appear to have been won from a bet that was completely compliant, and max bets should be enforced by the software not as an excuse to confiscate someones entire balance. Strangely enough the user has screenshoted the supposed violated terms on max-bet, but does not currently even appear on the website: https://www.bitstarz.com/termsthose words from very trusted person by this community and as he said while you can prevent ppl playing over max amount you just waiting them to exceed and if they win steal their money

The bonus terms are normally separate from the general terms of the site (major bookies and casinos have this). When it comes to it being arbitrary rule, it's one of the most common bonus rules out there. Again (as you've seen if you've read the thread), it's a limitation with our provider when it comes to a technical prevention of betting over that amount with bonus money, so it goes for all casinos using their platform, after a discussion with them, they have agreed to develop this and it will be in place within 4 months tops. Everything I've mentioned here has already been discussed in the thread, so I'd recommend reading that through as I'm sure it will answer most of your questions, if you have any questions, PM me and I can call you and explain. Mike

Thanks, Chris Quite a rating for a site making excuses to take user balances when they see fit based on rules in fine print. There's no way the site could get 9.2 out of 10 based on what we've seen... Crazy max bet limitations on bonus funds which aren't enforced by software though allows the site to seize the funds.

Based on what "we've" seen? You mean a player not understanding terms and conditions that are the same as many, many other casinos? Give me a break. I've played on BitStarz for over a year now with no problems ever. Follow the rules and you won't have any problems. Better yet, don't accept the bonuses. It's easy to click the little "forfeit" button. In fact, most bonuses have to be accepted. They aren't automatic in most cases. Lots of whiners and complainers in this thread who have no clue what they are talking about. BitStarz rocks!!

Seriously, stop whining and bitching... you just look ridiculous.

In an unregulated environment I think the players need to speak up if they think they are being treated unfairly. It's the nature of the business that the casino is trying to make as much money as possible. They're going to push the limits untill the players push back. Regardless, BitStarz already said they are working on a solution to restrict those bets from even being possible when using bonus funds, so they are actively addressing the issue people are complaining about.

They've already taken steps to make it better by making the terms more visible. That's great if they implement the automatic restriction. Are you mad because fewer players will have their funds seized?I don't get it.

LOL I'm not mad at all, I just think it's stupid that people are still claiming they are some kind of scam because of a user who didn't read the terms and conditions. They've paid thousands upon thousands of winnings and people cash out there everyday without any issue, but as soon as someone doesn't understand the rules all of a sudden other people start making ridiculous scam accusations. Someone complained, the company addressed the complaint, improved their terms and conditions, and even agreed to implement a technical solution to the problem. That's great. Now people should shut up about it and stop shitting up their promotional thread like they have been for 3-4 pages now, lol. Personally I think BitStarz handled it professionally, so let's move on!

I understand that people have different views, but I really have trouble understanding your position. The vast majority of users will never read a sites Terms of Services, and rely on it to be reasonable. Even if they did read it, it's simply not fair or just that someone making a small mistake (that the site accepts!) leads to confiscation of (unrelated) funds. It seems to be to be very basic empathy. If you, or someone you cared was acting in good faith and was screwed out of thousands of dollars by a technicality, I have trouble believing your reaction would be: "haha, yeah! Should've studied those terms of service and had it reviewed by my lawyers first! They got me good on the fine print" And besides, the whole "Terms of Service" thing is complete misdirection and wouldn't stand up in any court system that I'm aware of. There is a well established legal concept known as unconscionability which would invalidate such a one-sided predatory condition like this.

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Sure, and many people have reported their own experience where BitStarz let them slide even though they violated TOS. BitStarz has to make a decision in each case. That is, to let someone slide or to penalize them for violating the rules. They've said themselves (and it looked like others confirmed) that they give people a free pass if they do it once, but when it looks like the user is repeatedly abusing the rules, or they have reason to believe they are setting up alt accounts to get away with the same violation multiple times, THAT is when they don't budge. It's a business. They can't run a successful business on empathy, and it's not fair to the users who do follow the rules to let others break them without any penalty. Also, there's nothing unconscionable about their terms of service, from a legal standpoint.

Wake up, they aren't letting it slide out of generosity and they don't enforce it because they are confident the player is acting maliciously. They let it slide when it's small because when they enforce it they know there's a good chance that player won't be returning so the seized funds should be more than they expected that player to deposit in the future. It's a business. They can't run a successful business on empathy, and it's not fair to the users who do follow the rules to let others break them without any penalty. Are you drunk? Are you intentionally contradicting yourself? Or am I misunderstanding something and your intention is to point out that Bitstarz is unfair. Also, there's nothing unconscionable about their terms of service, from a legal standpoint.
The players have no legal stand point. There are no rules to protect players and there is nobody to enforce them even if there were. They can do whatever they want and the only way a player can protect them-self is by not shutting the fuck up. That being said, I agree that calling Bitstarz a scam is a stretch. I would easily rank them at the top of the long list of softswiss casinos. After dealing with several of them, Bitstarz is the only one that doesn't try to bury complaints in spam, blatantly ignore me or accuse me of working for another site. You're quite the hypocrite though for saying this: LOL I'm not mad at all, I just think it's stupid that people are still claiming they are some kind of scam because of a user who didn't read the terms and conditions.
after leaving this feedback: I felt inclined to provide this feedback/review after seeing some scammers giving Bitstarz bad feedback and trying to blackmail them into paying.
Bitstarz is A++++ in my book! Don't listen to the scammers. New feedback

People tried to blackmail them into paying for the users' own mistakes. I play there and have had no problems at all. They are, indeed, A++++ in my book and all the complaints in this thread are ridiculously stupid, especially from people who weren't even affected.

They certainly don't seem to be rushing with the solution. Doubt it would take them very long if they were dedicated to it. Would like to see some progress being made! Also, do you read the ToS carefully on each and every site you use? As was stated earlier you should be able to assume the rules are reasonable, not that you have to be scared you might lose your funds because you missed something written in the fine print every time you play somewhere.

Every single site you ever go to on the internet has terms and conditions. It's your responsibility to read and understand them. If you fail to do so, you lose the right to bitch about shit when it doesn't go your way. I'm not bitching about shit that didn't go my way.

I can't speak on whether or not they are rushing on a solution because I don't work there, but I'd imagine these sort of technical solutions take some time to implement, especially if it has to be coordinated with the game developers. As far as ToS, if I don't read it then I don't bitch when I lose money because of my failure to read and understand it. Just like any other contract I agree to. That's part of adulthood.

What if you read every one of the ~4,200 words in their terms and conditions before making your first deposit. Over the next 3 months you deposit a bunch of times and have a few small cashouts for 2-5x your deposit. Then you hit huge for 800x your average deposit and celebrate with a few max bets at one denom higher , .03 btc per spin, before cashing out. After they inform you of the separate 2,400 word terms and conditions that you violated but didn't know existed since it was a pop up that could only be accessed from the right landing page, they give you your deposit back and only keep the remaining 99.7% of your balance.
