I can't believe that i'm mining the world first fair digital currency! Good work, cryptomidnight!
Yes you are. But as damiano said - it's quite difficult to find a block.

yep

haven't found shit! now

lol

It almost feels as if im not mining.  I hope a pool gets up asap

because the diff is too low and the blocks reward is almost 0, the OP say it all

Will merge mining spread my hashes across all coins I'm mining?

If so, would I be better solo mining only Moneta Verde if I want all my hashing power pointed at it?

I've run start_mining x (where x is number of threads) from wallet. Works nice, though hashrate is not so great compared to wolf's miner. Then again, it's all about luck... difficulty going uuuup now!

I compiled on three machines.  Two Ubuntu 12.04 and one 13.10  All had errors and I thought it failed but it did finish and I started mining and have found some blocks.

I don't see a constant update in the Daemon...if I enter the "show_hr" I'll start getting a running list of the hashrate but nothing about blocks.  Is that normal?

Use set_log 1 thru 4 with 4 providing more data.  To stop logging type set_log 0

You can set the level of process detailization* through "set_log <level>" command*, where <level> is between 0 (no details) and 4 (very verbose).

Here's what you'll see if you find a block with show_hr running and the default log level

Code:
hashrate: 445.3158
2014-Jun-17 13:40:24.697416 [miner 26]Found block for difficulty: 405821
hashrate: 444.5263
