Bitmain surprising us again, but I felt they were idiots for not taking up a better S2 deal with you.  The fact is they know this S3 will drive them for the next 6 months like the S1 did.  Fingers crossed awaiting their pricing scheme.

What is this?

I'm compiling a list of potential buyers for 1THs bitcoin miners. Which miners? This is still TBD.

What is the purpose of this?

To create enough interest to create a bulk order with a manufacturer which leads to cheaper prices.

Which miner(s) are you buying?

This is currently being worked on as I type this. Working with the top manufacturers to find the best rates and soonest shipping times.

Do I have to pay anything right now?

Nope. This is simply an interest list for now, details will be provided as we get closer to finalizing a choice.

Understand you need to make something for the effort but would be fair to be transparent. If I presume correctly, we would be paying bitmain direct, they would be drop shipped and you would be doing the order taking/info passing?

Assume that shipping will be directly from China to members of the GB (doesn't make sense to double ship to US then re-distribute, all GB gains will be consumed by shippers).
If there are coupons to existing Bitmain customers, these should be applied to buys through the GB.

id like to order the new hash boards but not the full unit. in other words i would like to upgrade the hash boards on the s1. which i beleive they do offer. they should be the same interface as the s1. if so and depending on price per upgrade i would like 1-5 of the upgraded hash board replacements for the s1. reason im asking here is because the group buy should help with those aswell.

Yea but the what are you going to do with the boards from the S1?  You are willing to trash them?  I don't think they would do very well on ebay as standalone units with no control board.
If they offer sales this way and a lot of people do it I could see an interesting secondary market for control boards developing.
