Might have made a difference in 2007, but that game has gone to shit. Lost a good 70% of its players and thrives on the annoying types of microtransactions in-game that it promised it would never have.
Bitcoin isn't going to be implemented and if it was, it would not be impactful at all.

The game is still alive mate. There are constant 40-50k players on. Although not as much as there used to be because the bots are now gone, that is still a large number. But as far as Jagex accepting bitcoins, that would the best thing ever. I can see some player who have not played in a while jumping on just because they can get a month of membership easily by bitcoins. Someone really should suggest this to Jagex. |

But anyways, I think it would be a great thing if MMO's adopted to bitcoin, although with the amount of scams (gold scams, etc) going on it would have to highly regulated.
