Now that looks very legit, aren't T-72 cold war era type Russian tanks? If so it would explain why the Russians were able to get their hands on them, I would definitely think it possible to take tanks from that place and re-activate them with some skilled engineers, just a matter of knowing how to fabricate the bits and put it all together safely.

This is for Niothor. He was asking for proof, for a few days now. Pro-Russian troops boarding an MBT near the town of Yanakiyevo, Donetsk oblast. You can see clearly that the men are wearing the uniform of the Donetsk People's Army:  You show as proof of 15 rebel tanks in a fight involving 4000 rebels and 30000 ukraine soldiers a picture of two tanks down a road? And that makes your claim confirmed. Also , you got this picture after you said the fight was confirmed , you didn't see it before. |

^^^ My source was Lifenews. They had posted that a tank battle is ongoing in Krasnyi Liman with 70 tanks on the Ukrainian side, and 15 on the rebel side. Al Jazeera confirmed that tanks were involved, but didn't gave a number. (Only the Russian media have reporters in Donbass, but according to you they are full of lies).

Russian tanks are on the move even as Ukraine’s president on Friday announced a week-long unilateral ceasefire in fighting with pro-Russian militants. Pro-Russian troops prepare to travel in a tank on a road near the town of Yanakiyevo, Donetsk region, eastern Ukraine, The T-64 was conceived in Kharkiv, Ukraine. In other words, it are Ukrainian tanks. One of the factories is the Malyshev Factory. |

Clearly based on what? A t72 has it's IR on the right side of the canon the t64 on the left. The wheels are also indicating a 64 silhouette behind the extra armor. Also the ammunition box on that side make me thing it's a t64b model or an improved version like the mb2 or br like the one below  ^^^ My source was Lifenews. Some 4,000 rebel fighters and 30,000 Ukrainian soldiers took part. Heavy fighting also taking place in the nearby areas of Yampol and Seversk.
where are the reports about the tanks and the 34 000 fighters? Link to at list two sources , I'm not waiting for a 6 block confirmation but at least two claiming what you've said. |

That is enough for shipping of repair parts. If tank is not in working conditions, it can be repaired. So called "assembled repair parts", You need only replace the antenna from that tank to assembled repair parts unit. |

So called "assembled repair parts", You need only replace the antenna from that tank to assembled repair parts unit. They called this cannibalizing. If you have 100 broken tanks and if you have good mechanics you can cannibalize those parts from other broken tanks to create at least 20 - 30 working tanks. The military base near my home usually do this because of low budget. |

No. I'm about new units called "assembled repair parts". That can be a new tank, they need only add some old part from damaged tank. For example a light bulb.

They called this cannibalizing. If you have 100 broken tanks and if you have good mechanics you can cannibalize those parts from other broken tanks to create at least 20 - 30 working tanks. The military base near my home usually do this because of low budget.
In that case, the Ukrainian army will soon find the rebels armed with some 50 more tanks, in addition to the 6 or 7 they had already captured. Remember that the Ukrainians have only around 100 MBTs in the Eastern Front.  |
