4 and half hours, no problems at all, the 3 card rig is using a mix of 6970, 7950,7970, the 4 card rig is 280x toxic, 7950, and 2 7970. Windows 7 64bit, beta drivers installed without HDMI audio drivers.

this is the difference in the 3 card rig:

before:
6970: 1678

7970:3239

after:

7950:2040
7970:4075
total: 7955mh/s

difference: 1215 mh/s

I cant start this miner. zlib is missing is all i get on all rigs. Other miners are working.

Silly me I forgot to add it to the rar folder, I'm sorry. I will fix it and upload the folder again at the main post.

here is the link for the zlib file, paste it in your miner's root folder: https://mega.co.nz/#!s0Zn2RTC!f2_Z2ILTh0q8g9PURjaoEyt5sRBnQNoZfVhMAfzbDAA

also, please reassure us you did not pull a "girino" on us with hidden 2% hard-coded pool hopping in your favour  Wink
My release is based on a fork of lasybear release not girino so it doesn't contain this mechanism.  Wink

Excellent!! Not trying to FUD or anything! Thanks for the answer!

Ok I have re-compiled the windows binaries from a fresh mingw install, and now it is working properly (mostly likely, I had different version of libcurl in the old one) https://mega.co.nz/#!hZUAzQDQ!GrLynWXGP5wFIiDmFpXnTiXV-AI_bkXEFfQrJpbwF1o

Ok, its working now but i dont see any boost in hash. Did you copyed the link to the right miner?
3 rigs, all 7950's.
Yes I did, would you mind checking it again and make sure you are using AMD 14.6beta or at least AMD 14.4 driver?

We badly need miner which can improve 5xxx/6xxx cards.

Non available now..

I am getting message that zlib1.dll is missing and that sgminer cannot start!

I fixed this problem in a previous comment, you can download it now.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=658975.msg7415616#msg7415616

Here's my story:

2 rigs, one running win7, one running 8.1. Both with 14.4 drivers.

Win7 (2 280x, 1 290), installed everything as directed. Perfect. Got the expected increase in hash.

Win8.1 (4 280x), installed everything as directed. No increase in hash, one card fails after about 10 min.

Both rigs were using the previous conf files from the last version of SGMiner. Win 7 system, no changes and got the increase. On the Win 8.1 system original conf did nothing, i've tried about 2 hours of various conf tweaks. No change.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Going to try reinstalling everything later from the begining, but maybe someone else ran into issues on 8.1 like this.

Did you have an older AMD driver before trying the SGMiner, cause I'm thinking MAYBE it had not been uninstalled perfectly.

The strange thing is, on nist5 older radeons gained as much as newer ones :/

As for drivers, no need to reinstall with 14.4 or 14.6
All one needs is to copy OpenCL files from 14.6 in the folder of sgminer. Bin file will be compiled by 14.6, but the system and OC will be controlled by 13.12 or 14.4 - win-win Smiley

PS: The real weird thing.
On X13 my 6970 increased speed with almost 20% :O
Maybe I have to check x11 with different settings from previous versions :S

It seems all parameters as: shaders/thread-concurrency, -w, -g are ignored

This is a great thing Smiley

Give x11 a try and check what's gonna happen with its performance.

Curretly have 14.4 driver... SHould i be updated to 14.6?

Does 14.6 offer better performance on X11 or X13?

I personally tried both, 14.4 and 14.6bita is working fine with me with the same performance.

With 14.6beta you may face a problem of the frequencies wont be changed even if you will  modify it what so ever.

However read the past 2 pages of this thread and you will find the solution for this.

+1

and I did nothing but made sure every required compiling files are there and then recompiled it again.

What's exactly happened with your miner??

I tested it but no increase Huh using 14.4 7950's

I have 7950, the hashrate got higher.

Try this config: http://pastebin.com/4vS1gw8e

Did anyone test power consumption compared to previous miners?
I see temps are a bit higher, maybe ~5-10% so one can expect the same "gain" in power bill...

Thanks!

Well of course things run hotter. Hammer down baby. Wink
6 hours plus. Two machines 3 7950s.
1150 clock 1500 mem
2 threads.
Dont try undervolting until you have it running stable.
This fork hauls ass..
Dang i cant get to 4.0 mh.
But 3.900 will do! Wink
Wu .055 all day long after 20 minutes.
Hoooray!
Drop your intensity!!! I had to go down. To get cards to fire up..
Crash. One card up,one card down. Etc. driver,Needs the voltage. Wink
Watch the intensity on start up.
Start with I15 . Edit config accordingly.
Tweak the intensity, after start up,what ever flavour R X I .
Threw the g command in sgminer after its running.
Test. Tweak etc;)
Start with I 15. It gets wierd after 17 on a 7950
I use X.
X120 on a 7950 is the sweet spot .
0 rejects zero!
0 hardware errors.
3.880-3.900 all day long.
Thats down from X238 on the  previous miner. @ 3.070 mh
Way better share rate per minute.Wink this fork..
X11 by the way Drk.
1 thread will always give the lowest hash rate.
2 threads is where i'm at with those numbers.
Work size always 256 on a 7950. I dont care what anyone says!
3 threads, hash rate will increase.
4 threads, it will also increase.
Pool dependent. Better pool more threads . Wink although,it splits the hash rat among threads and
3 and 4 throttle the cards and your reject rate will increase. Temps will jump around.
Hash rate hard to judge except via average.Wink more threads more jumps.
Of course it will! 3 or 4 chances to get the math wrong.Wink
Go with 2 until you wanna play. Wink
Everytime you update the software. Dump the previous bin or back it up.
Let it regenerate a new one.
After it builds the bin. Test. Etc.
Restart sgminer . Your true hash rate will be evident on 2nd start.
It doesnt have to build the bin again. Wink
I went from fouth in my pool to number one.
I don't  see a problem with this soft ware unless of course
Your running win8. Yah know banned in China! Lol
Where is all the bit coins going? Fiatleak.com Wink
Kudos again.
Compute this nvidia. Lol
If i had a rocket launcher , i mean.
If i had a 7990. Ooooohh baby. .
Hash out.lol
Too many beers .
