Hi guys,
I am wondering if there is a block explorer for ripple.
I thought they made it open source, so normally this should be possible?
The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

What exactly do you need/mean?

https://ripple.com/tools/info/ can help you to find out more info about accounts and transactions, the graph tool (Accounts Explorer) on http://www.ripplecharts.com/ is also nice...
Also there are several APIs to get data from a rippled server (https://ripple.com/wiki/Rippled_API_Overview) so that is also something you can use: https://ripple.com/tools/api/

https://www.coinlend.org <-- automated lending at various exchanges.
https://www.bitfinex.com <-- Trade BTC for other currencies and vice versa.

You sound confused...

Ripple calls their blocks "ledgers", otherwise they are not very different from other blockchains out there.
