I have seen many address include their brand name.
Can you choose wallet address for blockchain?
Or can we change it?

Your best bet is to "tag" your address so that Blockchain.info shows your "custom" name wherever someone looks at your BTC address.

Yes you can use a Vanity Generator to find an address with a name you like
You need to trust the generator though so be careful when generating an address using one.

If you want to change the address you have on blockchain.info you need to import a specific private key. There is a tool called vanitygen, as has been suggested, that can generate the private key to a specific address. Keep in mind however that this might take a while. 1blasomething is easy 1IwantThisAddresssomething will most likely not be found while you are alive.

Even generating 1b1asomething isn't easy. It would take my computer 8.8*10^11 years at 50 Kkey/s per second to generate that. The rise in difficulty per additional character is exponential so 1b1a would be easy (a minute or two at most), 1b1aso would be moderately difficult (a couple of hours to a day or two), and 1b1asome would be very difficult (a couple of years to a decade or two).

I managed to generate 14money and 1norgan overnight. Anything longer starts to quite weeks and years. Also use -I on vanitygen so it doesn't worry about case as that adds quite a bit of time to find one.

Bitcoin addresses are Base 58 so every time you add a digit to the vanity part it multiplies the number of search permutations by 58.

So if those take overnight to generate then adding one more character would make it take about a month and another one on top of that would take about five years.

You need to remember that this is only an average, it could very well take longer then this (or less time).

You can use a vanity address generator, it will generate thousands of private keys until it matches your desired keyword inside. Keyword is usually 6-7 letters.

never EVER use sites like these. I used one, and the site was compromised and every address that I had made on there was wiped and the funds were sent to the hacker.

It sounds very much like the site owner "hacked" his own site.

It isn't good to even let third party to help you to generate your private key, especially when it doesn't even use https protection. The third party can hack your private key since they generated it for you.

Indeed, I would never use a bitcoin address that I hadn't generated myself. That's just a huge security risk. Plus, I never saw the big attraction with vanity addresses. They're just for transacting with, not advertising.... not effect advertising, anyway.

Exactly. The third party won't have your private key at all with split key.
