Signature renting for a total newbie

Hello. I am a new user here, as you can probably see. I stumbled upon a person here, mentioning signature renting as a way to earn bitcoin. Can a completely new user to the forum, like me, rent his signature?

You will generally not be able to rent your signature in any way until you reach member status (~2 months). There is simply too much spam by newbies.
